Hey, glad to be a part of the boards. I went to Acen last year as Sailor Mercury and plan to be Sailor Mercury this upcoming year. I will also cosplay as Anti-Spiral Nia from Gurren Lagann. I'm currently making the costume. It's a little bit of a challenge but fun. Some of my favorite anime include gurren lagann, princess tutu, Mushishi, Rurouni Kenshin, the slayers,Stait Jacket,and Death Note. Also I'm sad that pale cocoon was only 20 min long 0__o

Also I love all studio Ghibli films. ^-^

I'm from Northern Indiana, so only a 2 and half hour trip. Also I have two finals when I get back from Acen, so this will be interesting.

That's a good list of anime you like there. Any particular genre you float towards or just kinds whatever strikes you?

I'm from central Indiana and it's also a 2 and half hour trip for me.

Not really since I never thought I would of enjoyed princess tutu and death note as much as I do. lol If it pulls me in by the third episode I will continue watching the series.

I'm much the same whenever I watch something new. It's got 3 episodes to impress me. If it does it in less, then I stay for the long haul (which some animes are) If it doesn't, well at least it tried

I'm another Hoosier (fancy us all meeting here :P)
Death Note is one of my all time faves...I even cosplayed Ryuk at ACEN '10 :P

Anyhow, If you're got any forum-related Q's just let us know~

I was Ryuk two years ago. Last year I was Grell.
I've thought about bringing Ryuk back, but i'd need to find a new wig (and style it)...which i don't really want to do..

I watched one episode on netflix and thought princess tutu was crap. My anime club watched the whole series and everyone was shocked how good it was even the men.XD
