Okay, I know this question has probably been asked before, but I can't seem to find the thread for it anywhere, so I will ask it again. How can I change the color of my eyebrows? (Not permanantly, of course. This is only for cosplay!) The character I want to cosplay as has white eyebrows, (mine are dark brown) so how can I get my eyebrows to appear white? Is there some sort of special make-up that I should use? (I'd really appreciate any tips and advice about how to do this).

Elmer's school glue + Acrylic paint

Just get the regular old bottle of white elmer's school glue and a small paintbrush (which if you don't have any you can find them in the craft aisle at the store) Get a small bottle of acrylic paint (which in this case you need white, the small bottles are under 2 dollars). Put a little bit of glue on the paintbrush and apply to your eyebrows. Wait until it dries, and then add the acrylic paint to the paintbrush and apply over the glue.

It's easy to take off, when you are ready to remove it just use your hands and warm water to peel it off of your eyebrows.

I have super dark eyebrows too and I cosplay Axel (which his eyebrows are red) and it works just fine :)

This is an interesting idea, but it sounds like it'd be kind of painful having to peel the glue off of your eyebrows. Is it very painful removing the glue? And I kind of worry I might accidently rip off half my eyebrow when I'm peeling off the glue. Has that kind of thing ever happened to you with this method?

You could experiment with using a white pencil eyeliner and white mascara. Usually the only white mascara you can get at the store is marketed as a primer. I imagine that if you apply white eyeliner first and then the white mascara on top it will look right.

Another alternative would be to use a white makeup crayon, the kind you can get in any Halloween makeup kit.

Rather than peeling you can just use face soap and warm water and it should dissolve the glue.

Another option is if you can get spirit gum (they sell it at costume shops and anywhere that has theater/sfx makeup) you can brush that over your eye brows, back brush your eye brows with a clean mascara brush, then use loose eyeshadow over that and brush your eyebrows back into place. Spirit Gum is really sticky, but the eyeshadow would negate that, and it would be a slightly messier application process but I find that it looks more realistic because the eyeshadow sticks to the individual fibers of hair.

White face paint works pretty well. A good way to remove that is (surprisingly enough) baby shampoo which is apparently really good to take off make up anyways.

These are all really great ideas. Thanks! I'll have to try them out and see which one works best.

This thread is helpful for me as well! I need pink eyebrows for my cosplay and my eyebrows are black and bushy. XD
Now I know what to try and what to use in the future for other cosplays where I need to have different colored eyebrows. :D

Well, there's not too many characters I cosplay (or want to cosplay) with my hair color, so I'll probably have to be changing eyebrow color a lot. I can't wait until my cousin and I find two others to cosplay the Links from Four Swords. Link has black eyebrows! I won't have to do anything! :D
