Hello. Anyone want to start a small dedicated cosplay group? I've been going to cons for years. I'm an NIU student so my schedule isn't always the freest but I'm willing to try to be flexible. Just a heads up, I take a lot of pride in my cosplays and I'm willing to help people with theirs.

I'm going to be honest; some of the fanatics around here are....um....a few apples short of a bushel, if you know what I mean.

I mean I've been at NIU for 3 and 1/2 years now and I'm not a member of the anime club here but it's kind of hard to find dedicated cosplayers.

Yeah not alot of people want to go out in public with them on usually because its either frowned upon
or they just dont want to deal with the questions and the comments people may give them.

I don't understand why you wouldn't join up with the college's anime club; they have the same interests as you, why not make friends? Also, the club is hosting its third annual Karoshi Con on March 24th, so you can come out and show off you cosplay there.

I think he means to say is if you go to the club you will be able to find people that may be willing to be a dedicated cosplayer.... Notthe whole NIU Campus is on the ACen forums you know... :mellow:

I'm not looking for suggestions on how to find people here, I'm looking for people to Cosplay in Dekalb and at Acen. Thanks for the suggestions anyways.
