Just an update. only the aloft had rooms Hilton is booked, the hyatt is booked. boubletree is booked, embassy booked. Comfort inn has room. And the hyatt that's a mile away has room's but they are 300 a night

Yep, hotel rooms are filling up quick. I am currently working on more room blocks at other hotels. As these room blocks are created, and confirmed, I will make updates to our website.

I'm 99.5% sure I just snagged the last room at ALoft earlier (not ACen rate, just normal rate)

Intercontinental still has rooms - $185/night for 2 double beds.
Hilton Garden Inn (2 miles or so?) has rooms - $119/night.

I spent about 2-3 hours on the phone earlier calling everyone just in case. Hope this helps someone.

As of this moment the Intercontinental is also booked up, as best I can tell. In fact the only hotel that I can find with availability from the con block is the Crowne Plaza. I'm not sure if everyone decided to book their room at once, but when I started looking a few hours ago, there were rooms available at various locations, but by the time I'd made a decision, almost everything had been booked. I'm hoping that someone will cancel at the Embassy or Hilton, so that I can cancel my reservation at the Crowne. We've had poor experiences there the past couple of years, and I was really hoping for someplace different this year. Best of luck if you haven't gotten a room yet!

Rooms start to go fast as soon as they are announced. One has to be constantly looking at the Forums, Face Book, Twitter, and website for any information about Hotel Room Blocks, which is one of the reasons why the most popular hotels are already booked. One has to be fast as a Ninja!

Yea, it was crazy there were rooms available at the Embassy, and within a 2 hour time period they'd vanished. The Intercontinental is also full. I've been watching the forums and website, but I didn't have confirmed days off from work until now, so I took what I could get.

If you want the Embassy for next year, they don't charge at the time of making the reservation nor do they before hand. They do require a credit card to hold the room though. So you can place a hold on the room when the block opens and if you don't get the time off. you can just cancel and you're not out any money

If you don't have issues with people you can always opt to be a roommate at the hotel that you are going for by posting here or using networking media. That's a plan B though >.<

Hilton, Hyatt, and ALoft are the same way. I have not had my card charged for ALoft but I have my confirmation.

Use this link to book a room at the Intercontinental. They still have double-bed rooms available at this time. Just make sure you select no preferences for the room options.

The Crowne Plaza is basically across the street from the ConCenter, and the InterContinental is 0.5 miles south of the ConCenter.

Thank goodness I found this thread! I have a room available for anyone. It's at the Hilton (right across the street from the convention) is open. At the moment I'm not even sure if I'm even going now to an Illness in my family. . . Again I'm so sick of deaths in my family. . . anyway it's a regular room and it's $505.11 for the stay there for the whole weekend. Just send me your e-mail threw private message and I'll get back to you asap!

Now consider that for that hotel from what I've found on hotels.com is that they are offering a single night at 390 something a night!

Oh I forgot to mention that only two people can be in the room. that's why my friend let me have it because she had like 4 or 5 people in her room already
