Get ready! The Anime Milwaukee convention is happening this February!
Feb 17th through 19th, 2012!
It's a 3 day, nonstop event, held at the Hyatt Regency hotel and the Frontier Airlines Center in downtown Milwaukee!

We have famous American voice actors, internet celebrities, and DJs lined up for the convention. Website updates coming real soon, so keep checking!

This convention is for people who enjoy Japanese animation and culture, video games, strategic board games, cosplay, and other related interests. There's something for everyone, from family friendly events, an area specifically focused on children's programming, and late night adult oriented programming. There's the Hoshi no Yume Cafe w/ maids and butlers (open all 3 days this year), tons of scheduled panels, awesome contests, Midwest Karaoke Madness Friday and Saturday night, and the big Saturday night rave to a dance your cares away!

A 3 day badge is $35 before January 31st
Group/club registration is now open

I will be going just on saturday, I would love to go all 3 days but I can't. I will be picking my ACEN badge for sure at AMKE. It will be an excellent warm up for ACEN. I hope hope AMKE keeps growing like it is, its nice to have a con in winter be even nicer if it someday got to be the size of acen.

Will be checking out the maid cafe for sure this year, hadn't gone in previous years.
