I'm planning to go to acen as Revy from Black Lagoon this year. :D

So - first of all, is an airsoft "too realistic" for the con's policy? I'm not exactly that sure... because if it's an airsoft it'll look relatively realistic. But the con's policy disallows realistic gun props, while specifically mentioning the need to unload an airsoft prop if that's what a cosplayer is using. Confusion T_T

If they are allowed, I'm planning on buying two Berettas from Amazon and spray painting them. But then I run into the problem of how to engrave the Cutlass, and also the lengthening modification which is rather inconsistent at times... not to mention the harness. :\ I have no idea how to start with that. Help would be much appreciated >_<

sry to say but most guns remotely realistic
wont fly
and it sounds like your plan wont fall into legal

some air soft guns that are transparent or look nothing like any real gun will work
this despite the pink camo still not legal because of stuff like this
(something about cops legally being able to shoot ya la de da de da)

sry
it kinda screws characters who only have gun props
the closest thing that will be ok would be a blue runs replica
or at least these have been ok'ed in the past
and i dont think ya can paint it
again sry

Thanks for the info :D duly noted. I'll probably just stick pieces of vaguely rectangular plastic into her gun holsters then.
