Couple posters here always do a pre-party the Thursday night before all the chaos at a nearby bar/restaurant. It's huge, it's loud, there's a lot of cosplay, food and drink.
It's amazing.

I remember my first con i saw jack sparrow, the angel from constantine, and alucard all getting drunk together it was great.

Big chance i will be going the con alone this year hoping a room block opens up for thursday night at the hyatt otherwise i will be there from friday on.

dunno about the prank part but the rest sounds like fun...more fun than just spending my birthday sitting around watching tv lol, where do you usually do it?

I think the hilton rosemont should have some rooms for then...they have a skywalk over to the hyatt plus it will probably be less crowded, my friend and I are staying at that one..

Totally could! BUT for now that's kind of hard.as believe it or not *gasp* i don't have my cellphone active! i generally only turn it on around ACen so i can split from my friends when i want to,since anyone i know irl who wants to contact me,have like 10+ ways online to reach me.

well for now we have this forum to chat with you on...i have a facebook, tumblr and deviantart page most of my friends contact me on too..on here its mostly forum people i havent met

i'll try my hardest to keep up with the forum posts but i leave and go to my grandmas where internet is invisible lol (usually just thursdays thru sunday)

we havent really come up with anything as far as a group gathering other than Genichiro's 21 and over group gathering...but a few of the people i've been in touch with dont quite meet the 21 age requirement...i'll keep posting if i get plans solidified a bit more lol
