well that's just silly
Also many of them have done multiple jobs across various series, so you've got people like Caitlin Glass and Mike McFarland as ADR Directors and Jamie Marchi as Script Writers off the top of my head, so it would be easy to mix and match panels together for specific series or themes.

I've been trying to find out some more information about just who to invite, but I'm having a hard time finding specific names. Probably because I don't know who I'd specifically ask for, but I do have a general idea in mind. It would probably have made more sense if I told you this idea in the first place. I'd love to have people from Funimation who can at least tell us what they have in store for new titles this & next year, what their expansions might be in the future, how they select the shows they do, etc. Not exactly sure what you'd call something like this, but something like representatives of the company? Do they have a set group of people who travel to cons and talk, usually? Maybe like a spokesperson, or something.
Here's a link to a page about what they had set for OhayoCon this year: Funimation visits OhayoCon. I'd be especially interested in that "industry panel" they held. That's essentially what I'm asking for. Here's what the site mentioned:
1pm, Saturday the 28th
The who's, what's, where's and WHOA's of what's shaking at FUNimation. This panel features a special announcement and the introduction of a new FUNimation friend:) Room also TBD
I believe I saw their booth in the convention center last May, but there was only one guy there and... well... not sure just how much he knew, but it'd be nice to have some in-the-know people who can tell us what's up with Funimation this year and next. Having their own panel in programming instead of just a booth would be great. (Unless they've done it before and I've just missed it.) Any thoughts?
EDIT;;
Ooh! Found some names! The site says they're local contributors. Not sure if these are the people you'd be asking to come, but I'm sure they could direct you to the appropriate people if there are some.

Also, I was looking through this press release, and they mentioned how they bring special guests to those industry panels. Would our dear convention be okay with footing the bill if some extra "guests" came along for that purpose? Surely it'd be in the package deal (haha, that's a terrible term), but if an industry panel had the opportunity of bringing some voice actors, animators, etc. along for the ride, would that be okay?? This is more like my original request; after all, the industry panel might know who they'd like to bring to speak though we (the congoers) may not. Probably still not very specific, but I'll let you be the judge of that.

Just to let you know Funimation does do several panels at ACen and have a booth among other things@ I went to the one at Ohayocon this past weekend, and they do that here too

At any rate, we aim to have a strong industry presence at ACen. Several companies should be here to talk about up and coming shows and events, and we work with those companies to bring over Guests of Honor, such as directors, voice actors, artists, and the such. We're still in discussions with these companies, and we'll know more soon.

Oh, and by the way, thank you so much for hearing me out and giving me the chance to revise my request instead of disregarding it. Not that I've ever been ignored on here in the past, but your prompt commenting just goes to show how much you listen to your attendees and the efforts you make to do so. It's very much appreciated, thank you.
