So somewhat late in the game a group of friends and I decided that we may possibly be able to afford to go to ACen for another year after looking at the room block for this hotel, I just have a few questions if anyone is able to answer them ^.^
1) Has anyone stayed there and if so, how was the stay?
2) I see that they have free parking, free breakfast, free wifi, and free shuttle to and from the convention center 24/7 for registered guests. If anyone has used this in the past (if they even had it) did they check to see who was registered to the hotel and who wasn't before letting them on the shuttle?
3) Any other information that I should know about the hotel?

Any info you guys could provide would be much appreciated :3

I was looking into the comfort inn myself, if anyone is in need of an extra person for their room im more then willing to chip in just let me know

I stayed there last year and I thought it was horrible...
They ran out of food quickly.
The shuttle wasn't 24/7. I had to get a taxi after the rave. Supposedly they said the shuttle was only 24/7 for the airport.
When you wanted to go on the shuttle during the day, you had to sign up for it. A lot of people were upset :/
The faculty wasn't too nice.....
The price was pretty nice....but the hassle wasn't.

I have just reviewed the block rates and features. I have confirmed that the they will be offering 24 hour shuttle service to and from the convention. I have just reached out to my contact for information on how they plan to handle and arrange shuttle service this year at ACen.

I really hope it's not too much of a hassle with the shuttle. We will have a toddler with us and were really going to rely on the shuttle to get back and forth. It's quite a jaunt for a not-quite-two year old. Do let us know what they tell you.

I have to say, other than being far from con central, I was really happy with our stay at the comfort inn. The shuttles ran smoothly (at least for us).
