Not really new to the forums, been around for 2 years now- just never joined. I know, how derp? (LURKIN!!!)
I've been cosplaying for almost 3 years now, and attended ACen back in 2010. I was Yoruichi-sama from Bleach!
(Be awesome if I could find photos of me..)

I am from Chicago! Yay. I'm a student at DePaul... and I had a much more awesome intro, but my browser's back button eated it.

This year I gonna be cosplaying Athena Glory from the anime series ARIA! Zun taka piyoko tan! Zun taka piyon!

Oh, my favorite things about ACen.. let's see. I really loved meeting and receiving hugs from fellow cosplayers! Hugs are so nice. Warm fuzzies, da?
Then, I enjoyed shopping! EXPAND THY COLLECTION OF ALL FOREIGN OBJECTS KAWAII! Lastly, Cosplaying my favorite characters! ^@^

Oh my. DePaul was and always has been my first choice (and I swear I'm not biased, but good choice on you!)

The University is very welcoming to first years. There are so many great resources and classes, and opportunities there. It's not just a cliche.
Personally, I'm sure I'd enjoy my college experience if I were not commuting an hour everyday to school- it's different for me.

You definitely do stay busy (well if you are the busy type like myself), alas there are challenges but there are fun times and things to do of course! XD
(Unless you're the kid that puts their school work first before everything like yours truly). The student body is pretty warm and helpful! Make friends and make your grades~

(If you do end up at DePaul be sure to tell me, oh and join JMAC! Japanese Media and Animation Club <3)

Ever since I first looked into DePaul, I fell in love with it. And the moment I stepped foot onto the campus....It just refreshed the picture of myself being there.

That's really awesome!
So you think the living on-campus versus commuting plays a large part too?
Luckily, I'm planning on living there.

However, I don't always put school first.

Well, that's good for you on living on campus. I'm commuting to save money.
The only difference is that I have different experiences than those on campus. No biggie.
I do what I have to do~

I'm not the most active member of the club right now, but I plan to be in the future. School just takes my time away~ ;

My GPA was a 4.5, I am a freshman, and an Environmental Studies major.
