I believe this location will help out this convention increase its attendance. Debating on weather only going one day or obtaining a full weekend pass since it's only the second year.

It was at the Chicago Marriott O'Hare

An excellent location, but if it grows just a little over last year it would not be able to be held there.
It was lots of fun, no drama just friendly people.

I had heard rumors that you guys were moving to the Hyatt...that's pretty cool (at least I'll know my way around >_<) It's nice and close for me so I definately wanna come, but I'm thinking about volunteering. Volunteers don't have to pay for badge right? I'm assuming they would still have to pay for parking (which is no biggie, not that pricey really)

Bump, so it's one week before Wizard World, Wizard World has lots of celebrities I want to meet and like I mentioned before, I do need to save money so it's Wizard World or this for me. Anyone have any arguments as to why I may want to go to Anime World instead of WW?

Like I said I'm really looking forward to this and I'm especially happy since it is free. I believe I met Monica Rial at one of the first ACen's (I didn't really know her too much at the time) but how great it is that she's coming back. I also am excited because while I've been to multiple conventions, I always like to check out how other conventions handle events in comparison to places such as ACen, Wizard World, C2E2, etc.

You have no idea how excited I am to hopefully finally meet Monica for the first time. As I said I'm still relatively new to anime, 13 months now, but it didn't take me log to discover her, and fall in love with her work. I've watched vids from other cons on youtube, and she strikes me as an absolute sweetheart. After having met Jamie Marchi, Brina Palencia, Ian Sinclair, Joel McDonald, and Chris Sabat, and seeing how awesome all of them were, I'm that much more elated to finally get up close and personal with my absolute favorite person in the business.

It's interesting you should say that, since I watched Kanon (2006) with both dubs, I enjoyed it from both angles, and came away very impressed with Tomoko Kawakami and her performance as Sayuri. Even heard a little bit of her work in Best Student Council. From viewing her pages...

I'd like to attend this, but like STVO, I want to go to Wizard World too. Maybe next year. These cons need to spread out! Having the smaller ones during colder months would be nice.
