Well, we're at the 1 month mark today! Maybe we should try to get a headcount or at least a list of what characters/shows we're gonna have? I'm hoping there will be more companions/groups or at least episode groups this time (the UNIT group last year was AMAZEBALLS!!) This way, if someone is missing a charater, they'd see if someone could fill in on here!!

Also, from what I've been hearing, there might be a "timekeeper" nearby. This way, other groups that need this area for their shoot won't have to wait on us & will keep things moving along nicely. This will be awesome since some of us are staff, and will need to get back to our post/sections/etc...

As we get responses, I will edit this post with the list. BTW, if we do have a Torchwood group that needs a Tosh, I can ask my daughter or if you already have someone, but need a dress, I have a perfect one!! I have heard that finding a Tosh for a TW group is kinda hard....

Gotcha! Sorry if it seems like I didn't see your post before. I'm just trying to make a record for those who are just now finding out about the thread or trying to find a person to cosplay as or with. From what I remember last year, there was a BBC America rep/crew running around talking to cosplayers & I do know they do have ppls on message boards lurking....

As I said before, 4th Doctor will be making a return. However, I'll only make an appearance on Friday, which in retrospect is a good choice, since Romana and possibly K-9 will be there!

That looks amazing. Too bad this wasn't being held in May. A friend and I are going to be in London and are planning a day trip to Cardiff.

On an unrelated note, a local bar is having a Doctor Who party night. You get a free TARDIS shot for going in costume. Should e pretty cool.

Just a quick check to see if anyone is going to C2E2 as well as ACen & is doing DW/TW/BBC related cosplays? Daughter & I will be there on Sat. Thought if anyone was going we'd might do a mini pre-ACen meet up? Also, if anyone is doing a "Nina" cosplay from "Being Human", I do have her blue scrubs if ya need/want them!

I'm starting to get nervous. I sent my broken item back to the ebay member for an exchange a little over two weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived there. I was told it would take between one and two weeks to get there. I still need the new one shipped back and Acen is just over twenty days away. If I don't get it in time I won't have my Rose cosplay. I should have just taken it to the dry cleaners.

Have you spoken to anyone from your shipping service? Sometimes they may have different info since they might not be as quick as the web. Stay on the seller too, since it might turn into a "hey, it didn't get get here, but I have another one if you want to buy it..." thing.

Did you not put tracking on it? or was it overseas so prohibitively expensive? if you bought it from eBay and it's been less than.. 45? days? 30? you might be able to get a refund.

But only one 9th last year? I can kinda understand but I saw a spot-on leather jacket at goodwill and said "I'm doing this; I'm making this happen".
