Hello everyone! I know every single one of us can't WAIT for next ACen.... but I've got something else on the brain. I'm part of the Management which stages the Hoshi no Yume Maid Cafe at Anime Milwaukee; we've been a Maid Cafe at AMKE for two years now and this will be our third. We're very much looking forward to it, and have been planning for months.

But there's one thing we need most of all: YOU!

If you're interested in becoming a Maid or Butler, if you KNOW someone who would like to be a Maid or Butler, or if you'd like to help out in Kitchen Staff, please email maidcafe@animemilwaukee.com and include a recent photo of yourself. There are some catches: You'll have to be able to attend Anime Milwaukee 2012, so you'll need to be pretty close, and preferably in the area as we've got some training and other fun stuff to do before the convention.

The pluses? If you work 12+ hours in the cafe, which is easy to do as it runs all day all weekend, you're eligible to receive a free volunteer badge to the convention. Also, it's tons of fun!!

Don't know where to stay? That's easy! Stay right at the downtown Milwaukee Hyatt, where the convention will be held!

It seems I'm not old enough, but I'll try to sign up next year if I remember. I don't live nearby, but I live close enough so that I can arrive before the start of the convention.
If I end up going to Anime Milwaukee 2012, I'll definitely stop by. ^^

i would love to be a part of this but what if you don't really have experience in this field? but you have done volunteer work before does that help?

Hello chibi:

Any kind of experience in public speaking/acting is preferred, at least to be a server. If you still want to help out but not be in the limelight, then you could always volunteer as kitchen staff!
