We just finished sending out all approvals and denials for those who applied before the first initial deadline of October 31st. Those who applied before Oct. 31st are gauranteed to be in the December rough draft schedule. You should be receiving another email from us within 2 weeks with your scheduled time, listed panelists, and description. Some descriptions are being partially rewritten by our staff to fix grammar, or to be better understood. Many Japanese terms have been changed to the English terms so folks who don't know the Japanese term will also understand what the panel is about.

There are 13 panels who are currently on hold and we will be contacting you very soon with questions and clarification on your applications.

Those who applied after October 31st will be reviewed after we post the December rough draft schedule.

ALL approved panelist badges will be available for pick up in the Panel Office located in Gatwick in the Hyatt Regency O'Hare basement as long as they are fully paid for. If you do not pay for the discounted badge before the convention you will have to go into the registration hall to pay in hall A of the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center.

Panelists who only applied with 1 panel and ARE APPROVED you can pay now! Make sure the price on your account shows 50% off. You cannot select mailing. If the price is not correct please email us ASAP so we can fix it before you pay.

Panelists who are denied, please only pay if you DO NOT plan on applying with a different panel. You will not be refunded if your 2nd application is approved.

Panelists who had 2 panels approved. Do not pay, you have a 100% discount. You cannot select mailing for your badge.

On the most recent Panel Digest, my panel is listed as being approved but I haven't received any emails about it. I've emailed PanelProgramming@ACen.org, and Panels@ACen.org and gotten no response. I want to make sure that I'm able to get all the important information going forward, any suggestions?

We have some issues with automatic emailing. IF you were on the latest list then you do not need to worry as that means you are approved, it is why we manually built the list and sent it out due to the email issues.

How exactly do I get on this mailing list? I thought I had signed up before and I guess I didn't. I haven't received any sort of communication other than confirmation that my two panels were approved. I definitely haven't been receiving any sort of Panel Programming Digest updates or anything along those lines after my confirmations.

How do I get on this thing? Thanks!

Only one was in the non approved since Jan 4th, not sure I never got the email about it. Obviously I don't know who it was, but I approved them, there are currently no others pending. So if you are still pending, please re-apply.
