having gackt attend acen would be brilliant! i love the idea, but he's a HUGE j-rock artist he has alot to do. but it would be a great way for the con to get more money. if gackt preformed there would defiantly be more people attending to see a guy like him preform.

Well, if this music/venue expansion thread winds up working out, this may not be all that farfetch'd (YES I MADE THE PUN <3) in the future. I'd imagine this year certainly would be difficult to finagle (there's only 4 months left til showtime O_________O, and negotiations and concerts -especially bigger artists who don't or can't exactly go live acoustic festival in a cafe on 5 min's notice- need time for details and all that jazz to get worked out), but next year or so I'd say this would be pretty cool. On the other hand, if his tour brings him near Chicagoland around the con, perhaps there could be some sort of negotiating of some sort that -could- make it work -- you never know, right? :3

...Anybody have info or a link for that tour, by chance?

That video is so loud.




Getting Gackt to come would be insanely awesome but of little consequence to me since I wouldn't be willing to give up an entire day of con to stand in line so I could get in.
Not that we could get Gackt in the first place.
But you know.
