The con's location, the Wyndham Lisle/Naperville, is so very awesome! It's closer to downtown and right near a train stop, so it's easy to get to. Plus, there's plenty of free parking. Rooms are just $99 a night, and there's a ton of space for events and cosplaying all over. We're also allowed to have our ConSuite easily accessible right on the first floor - the free ramen and soda we have means that more of your money can go to the dealer's room!

We're working on planning more events, autograph signings, contests, and anime screenings than ever. Registration will be just $25 ($35 at the door) once it's open.

I went last year and it was great! (especially for a first time con!) There were a bunch of activities and panels that made the trip really enjoyable~ (plus i was soooo excited that i could meet Ellen McLain!!)
I'm definitely going again this year!

Once I get some other things straighten out I considering volunteering to help out at the con.
On another note, I do bring up the fact that this con (along with a few others that are coming up that are within a 1.5 hour driving distance) is happening during every meeting of high school Anime Club that I'm an advisor for.

You have plenty of time, we'll post on Facebook. If you absolutely want to do a panel, I'd recommend applying before ACEN, as that's when the big advertising push is. XD

You can pretty much assume yes to these things. Sometimes we have to wait until there's a lot of people to reply to.

Yeah, that's fine. I just hope that if there's a con shirt the staff is suppose to wear that there will be one in my size and it's not a commity uses shirt. Although I did have fun coming up with random ways to wear make use/wear the one(s) I was given at the last con I volunteered at.

I went last year, but I can't go this go around because I planned a vacation during that weekend, mucho sadness . I agree though, last years was phenomenal for a first year con. You guys had excellent staff, great guests, and fun games/panels.
