Gun Prop //Head desk

So… for my Fem Xanxus cosplay I’m making a gun prop (out of cardboard) that looks like this

Is it alright like that, or would I need to paint the tip orange?

I have a picture of a girl last year who didn't have to do that. U think as long as it goes through the security you should be fine. Buttttt I'm not 100% positive.

Orange tip. IMHO. Looks too much like a barretta m3

If your gun is going to be 3D(I assume it is) then I don't think I could easily from across the room tell that it's not real. More than likely going to need the orange tip so I would make one to be safe.
