Alright, so I have been looking around and I saw a 3.5 thread (with little to no love for 4e) so I am starting this one.

For hardcore D&D types: I understand if you think 4e is watered down and weak (I used to play White Wolf and wouldn't touch any of their current gen RPGs so I understand. However, keep in mind a table top RPG is as good as you make it), so please don't come here and whine about 4e. Go play Pathfinder instead! XD

Who is playing/DMing a 4e campaign?

I am currently in a weekly campaign as a Dragonborn Cleric (Lv5) except for an off week where we switch DM's, where I play a Kobold Ranger (Beastmaster/Archer, with a Spider companion).

Does anyone use the online tools on the D&D website or use iplay4e?

I almost wish there wasn't as much hate for 4e. I'd really like to at least try playing a game before I just hate on it. I mean I'm not overly impressed by the rules and character creation, but maybe once I actually sit down and try gameplay, it'll be fantastic. Unfortunately, everyone I know still runs 3.5.

I'm playing a 4e campaign that was converted from 3.5 This took a lot of patience and character tweaks, but we made it work! I personally was skeptical at first, but now I'm a full fledge convert! Luckily our group has a great DM, which made the transition process fairly painless.

One of my favorite 4E characters was a Healic (pacifist healer cleric) Her story was pretty cool, she ended up as the queen of an entire country.

The next campaign that I'll be playing I will be running a Telepathic Psion.

She is gonna be the daughter of my last character which was a Summoner Wizard.

I have a friend playing a telepathic psion. He's a dodgey little con-artist at constant odds with my Cleric. He has gotten us thrown out of many towns and a whole kingdom after starting a riot. Bards now sing of the tale of the riot in other towns we visit...

I new a couple of DM's that wanted to organize a group playing 3.5 vs a group playing 4e. I think it turned out to be too much trouble to figure out how to make such a battle run smoothly.

How would you stop people from cheating online?

There are digital tools for such things. You can roll a D20 on a screen and everyone will see.
