-- Page is crawling like a brick-laden snail (on connections of both DSL [1 Gbps] & fiber optic [TI?]);
-- Firefox has a status bar warning that the main site Reg page contains unauthorized content and is unsecured transmission (on the https); *have notice window still up if screencap needed*;
-- Newly registered accounts/attempting-to-register accounts get error saying (paraphrased) "email cannot be sent; contact site administrator if problem persists" -- in main case I had tonight, email in question exists, registration attempted on 2 separate pcs on opposite ends of Chicago (friend on phone had me try when his attempt failed) & both received same error verbatim. Attempt to make acct failed on his pc, seems (?) to have worked on mine - allowed me to add badge to cart & remove it, but unsure if able to login again (logged out & back into mine so as not to lose panel submission data - waiting on co-panelists' accts to add/submit but keep getting this error when they try making one. ><)
Is there any fix to this I can relay to them (
If it makes any difference, all the accounts with trouble registering have used varying version of Firefox & addons/lack-there-of. (Sorry if tha'ts not very helpful; I can call the peeps in ? when it's not 4am/the sun comes up, if any other details are needed for support.)
