Negima!? How many of you know this anime?

I was wondering how well-known the anime Negima!? is. Of course, I have so many costumes I'm making to choose from for this year, but I'm making a Mahora Academy uniform for Halloween and I was wondering how much recognition I would get at an actual convention. What do you guys think?

I would recognize it.

It is a pretty popular series, and it would be pretty cool to see a cosplay from it too

It's pretty well known. I love the manga. There's a ridiculous amount of action that's cut out from the anime though [shakes head in disappointment]. Asuna or Negi would for sure be recognizable.

Well, I bought both the original and the Re-imagined" version so I for one (might) have enough brain cells left to recognize it (the cosplay). I do have an Asuna figurine here at work...

Original version: good

"re-imagined" version: sucks

And I have to agree. The Original one is 10 times better than the re-imagined.
