Alright, so last year at ACen I was told by a staff member that badges would be $22 in December.
However, a few days ago I checked the website and it said that right now is $48. Is there any way to get it for cheaper (like buy just a one day pass) or is the $48, 3-day pass the only option? I'm only able to go on Saturday so it would be a waste to pay the $48 for only going one day.

It'll probably be cheaper to buy a one day badge for Sunday then buying a three day badge.

You can buy a single day badge for $35 at the convention or if you are attending another convention that we are road showing at a full weekend badge would be $38 (only at the roadshow) and you could have it mailed to you, skipping the line. Otherwise you would need to purchase your single day badge at the convention. The staff member may have been thinking about the military discount which I think was $28 last year (it's changed for this year).
