xxxHolic
Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations/Spring Chronicles

Spice and Wolf/Spice and Wolf II
Cardcaptor Sakura
Bolded are the titles I recommend more-so over the others, but all the same would love to see all them played at A-Cen. ^^

GREATEST THING EVAR (*has DVD if you need*)
--> Higurashi no naku koro ni...
(*the license exists though it keeps expiring & getting picked up by new folk everytime; -think- the current holder is/was Funimation?*)
--- RahXephon
(I've spent 5 yrs looking for this one! OTL)
--> Mobile Suit Gundam 00
(don't have $150+ for S1 & 2 ;; ? Watch at con! :D)
--> Sgt. Frog
(preferably from series start?)
--- Tonari no Totoro/"My Neighbor Totoro"
preferably the original 80s dub, or sub - can provide original pre-Disney VHS (Disney voices do not want DX)
--> Zatoichi (the original Japanese '60s tv series -- tale based on the Zatoichi mythos)
(it -has- to be licensed! - saw it in Fry's today & I'm 99% certain it had a funimation live action label on it next to TvToyko!)
--> HOLY CRAP ... ORIGINAL GODZILLA
...WE KNOW IT EXISTS!
...edits for great justice as more ideas come! ^^7

No idea if it's licensed or not, but Bokurano would be a good one if we can show it. After having seen -TheScreamer-'s violin version of the OP, I'd really love to see the series behind such a performance (not just read it on wiki/stray youtubes) :3
Oh, and Code Geass / Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion would be cool too. Think I only ever like saw/got 2 on iTunes or something like that (just recall it was on my ipod lol) (& I think it was 2 & 4 - someone was dying, & a blonde leader type person was being evil to a boy hiding in a box? & something about powers & schools and robots XD), so It's be nice to see them for real.. and actually ordered lmao XD
Would we be allowed to screen the Death Note movies, or would that be waaaay too many legal hurdles? Saw the 1st (& own it), but not the second, or the L spin-off.

OMG SECOND THIS!
It is licensed and the first 7 episodes have been released in a set. It is epic total win. I also agree with Persona 4: The Animation. (If it's released at that point.)
Titles I'd like to see: (Want moar older titles plz.)
There needs to be a room viewing older titles that some of the newer fans of anime might not know. D:
Outlaw Star
Cowboy Bebop
Yu Yu Hakusho
Tenchi Muyo
Shaman King
Digimon (Please? :3 )
Hana Yori Dango (Shojouuuuu)
Marmalade Boy (Even moar shojouuu)
And that's my list. I may come back and add more.

Ah, you have good taste-that's about all I watched when I first got into anime. LOVE Tenchi Muyo OVA (90s version) and the TV series. Ditto Outlaw Star and Yu Yu Hakusho.
My suggestions:
Melinium Actress or Perfect Blue
Project A-KO (any of em)
Macross
Sailor Moon (though no one knows who has the rights, so this is just a shot in the dark)
Reboot-again, not too sure if this will fly, but fun to put on here

Question @ bolded part:
Can we try asking the Japanese license holders then for special permission to show at ACen? If they're leery, we could point out that it was once one of the most popular shows for the youth market/Cartoon Network, and an airing at one of the largest conventions in America could renew that interest and in general be nicely profitable for them in terms of reputation, free advertising of awesomeness, as well as financially?
Alternately, can we

I can try to contact Toei, of course, but unfortunately, the argument you propose won't hold much water, as there are no current licensed distributors of the Sailor Moon anime in the US, so showing it won't really generate a lot of profit for them. Still, I'll try.
Cartoon Network can't give us screening rights to Sailor Moon. They do not have them anymore.
I'll see what can be done, but I don't anticipate success, which is a shame-- I'd dearly love to be able to screen Sailor Moon.

Hidamari Sketch - While licensed by Sentai Films and no english dub available, I believe this would be something other than Hetalia that 4-Koma fans might enjoy.
Supernatural the Animation - Out and Dubbed for fans of the live action Tv-series, this is an anime version which I must say, is quite excellent.
El Hazard the Magnificent World - Because old school series need loving too! This series doesn't get enough spot light in anime history D:
