I'm not sure if this goes here, but it feels like a newbie-ish question to me so here it is!

See this year I plan on cosplaying the lovely Elena form Hitman Reborn. I know for a fact that I'm gonna need to get her dress commissioned from someone, because I've yet to see a website with it, and I can't really sew a dress. With my internet shopping anxiety this is kinda a big step for me, so do you guys know some good people I can look at, and get price estimates from?

Any and all help would be very much appreciated.

I look but don't always chat.

Try:

God save the queen, (VERY Good but a bit expensive from what I heard.)

Cosplay1

Plan out exact what you need for your outfit, how much you are going to spend, and tell the commissioner your price range in advance.
ACen 2013 Cosplay:
Hero from SMT: DS2, Emmet/Kudari from Pokemon Black and White, Roppi Izaya from Durarara, Hitoshura human form from SMT.

Cosplay1 is like...every other Chinese commish... very hit or miss.. you may have to end up doing alterations yourself.

I never had any issues with them besides the Indonesia problem, (imports from Indonesia is kind of a hassle.) The outfit was alright to me that I got.

The only other advice I can give you is DON'T buy from Milanoo. Ever. No matter how cheap or good it sounds. Google and look at the reviews; they even use google image stock photos.

You can check out ebay stores and compare their images to stock pictures from google, compare reviews, and decide from yourself if you want to try them or not. I still have not found a REALLY good and decent price commission buyer to this day yet, (since I can't sew.)

Most commissioners, with the exception of GSTQ, are hit or miss. What might be good with one person might be crappy to another. I heard from people buying from TaoBao while others hate the chinese like ebay store, saying it's too cheaply made. I know people who also don't buy anything from ebay stores in terms of cosplay items.

*They use stock photos from google for their items instead of the actual stock images.

*They have horrible customer service and if you do reach a person they either don't speak english or speak engrish.

*The have horrible shipping and if you get your image in the exact way that you order consider yourself lucky.

*All of their good reviews are actually from 'them' and not customers in question. (They are really laughable.)

*Many times the images don't come exactly as the photo shown or even worse.

There are even more issues with Milanoo but basically it's the worse place to buy cosplay. One theory is that they are still in business is because of really naive cosplayers who see 'Wow really cheap and good looking items!' before they look up the reviews/google them.

I second the don't buy from Milanoo movement. I have never heard one positive comment about it, but there's a million bad ones floating around.
