a lot of us here really like military and historical garb so why not make a gathering so people can connect and take photos together? From Gundam and Space Battleship Yamato, to The Renaissance and World War II, to Resident Evil and Halo, to Hellsing and Hetalia.

THERE ARE ONLY TWO RULES!

1- Be nice, open-minded, and respectful to each other, and observe proper etiquette. Act like an Adult, and obey the ACen rules and guidelines.
2- It has to follow the theme. Yes, Master Chief counts. Yes, Nazi Zombies counts. Yes, Umbrella Corporation counts. Yes, WWII US G.I., Soviet Russian, and German Military reenactment impressions count. Yes, SCA-appropriate attire counts. Yes, The Wild Geese mercenaries and Millenium count. Yes, Guile and M.Bison count!! All levels of authenticity are welcome! Both bad guys and good guys are welcome! Yes, Props are welcome!

Any questions on what's acceptable, please send me a photo and I'll let ya know!

and if you don't have an outfit to bring, but love the subject, by all means, join us to make new friends and socialize, and have fun! This isn't just a photoshoot, but a gathering as well!

It depends on the day of this shoot. It's not authentic in any fashion, sadly, but I saw Steampunk. I'll be doing Steampunk Pony Express on Saturday. But I'll still stop by and take pictures.

That's fine! as long as it's military and/or history-themed, you're welcome to join! By the way, I saw some of it on your deviantart, and I must say I do approve! I am putting together an Imperial Aviator's outfit as well as a couple more ideas that are in the steampunk workshop's drawing board for now... I also suggest that if you like steampunk, Teslacon Is a convention I will be checking out this november :3

I'm afraid I don't really know anyone else going. This'll be my first year to it, but I'm sure it'll be fun. As for your photoshoot for ACen, I'll definitely find a way to go, even if I have to find a way to clone myself.

This will make my boyfriend happy. he does historical reenactment and this will be his first acen, so i'm sure he'll stop by so he has a group he can join up with.

Would be willing to attend. I'll have my Zeon Mobile Suit Mechanic outfit as I do every year but I am planning on finishing my modern version of a Zeon Ground Forces Anti-MS Squad. It all depends on if I can make all the patches and stuff on time.

Check the final schedule, it looks like they put it together while I was having technical difficulties. I believe it'll be saturday at 7PM, in loading docks D. If people end up liking it, I'll definitely work more to bring it back next year. Glad to have ya aboard if you choose to come in, Tesla

Because of the timing on the schedule, I doubt I can go since I'll be in my not-terribly-military MGS3 sneaking suit just before that and would have no time to change. :< It's okay, though. I doubt I want to get back in the WW2 uniforms this year anyway.

I know our group is doing a steampunk/pirate day, we are also doing Full metal alchemist military. So depends on the day. I'd love to get to know other history/ military buffs out there at ACEN.

If I remember correctly, the loading dock for this gathering is pretty much between the convention center and the Hyatt right? I will most likely be joining this military party.
