This doesn't really belong here :\ You might be better off putting it here, where it better fits, so it will get the right exposure. I saw you already started a thread for the group in meetups, but it's not really in the right place, either, since the way you have it structured (as a private cosplay group with limited space, rather than a public meetup) makes it more suitable for the Cosplayers-Seeking-Cosplayers, too.
Putting your thread in the right place can make a big difference...

EDIT: Opening up for crossplayers might make your group a bit easier, too, since there are a lot of really great crossplayers who attend ACen, and many are so talented that their original gender is completely obliterated! Admittedly, I don't know why your Black Star cosplayer has to be so special, so whatever reason that is might have some effect on the gender of the cosplayer needed, but if it's just an aesthetics thing, consider crossplayers. I know that Soul Eater does have a fairly large number of female-to-male crossplayers, and there's bound to be a fantastic one somewhere.
