Hope I don't step on any toes here, but I'm just wondering why there's such a price increase in full-con adult badge for Acen 2012? I've been going to Acen the last 6 years and this is the worst price increase I've ever seen for full-con badge. All the previous years pre-reg price has been around $35 for first tier, $40 for second tier. But this year it's $43 for first tier? I don't even want to know what full-con badge price will be for regular registration.
Again, not trying to spark any sort of controversy, but I'd be a lot more willing to pay for this price if I understood why it's so high this year? Thanks!

Actually last year the 1st tier was 40$, Roadshow was 35$. 35$ was the September special the year before that while we were testing a reg system. But we've kept our tiers the same for at least the previous 3 years. We haven't actually done a big price increase for several years now, and tried to keep it as minimal as we could this year. The single day badge prices did not change, but that at the door full weekend badge has gone up in price. Each of the tiers have gone up 3 dollars, with the option to pay 2$ for mailing.

well i think it uncool for an increase but i guess theres an reason maybe with more people it more things needed how know but it better be good

Its still cheaper than Anime Expo, so I can not complain. Its all to make it better as the con grows I'm sure.

Compared to Wizard World and other cons, it's not that bad honestly. I miss the old prices too but higher demand means higher prices.
