It's pretty much just me in my family, but occaisinally my brother helps me with props and I make some costumes for him. I'm hoping to have a version of the Ox-King and ChiChi from DBZ for us finished when I get some free time.

i wish my parents would come that hate it and i love it why God do you torture me so but I'm happy both of my elder sister like it and 1 is attending now for the other

My parents hates cosplay since they think it's a waste of money. Besides that, my sister and I love to cosplay! We went as England and Iceland for Acen 2011 if anyone saw us. :D

My younger brother cosplays, sort of. He's been wanting to for a few years, since I started going to cons, and finally will be able to this year, he's gonna be going as Snorlax, since he's kinda big lol

That would be SO SO SO cute. I would love to cosplay as Motoko Kusanagi in her combat armor and have my baby in a little Tachikoma outfit. <3 Picturing it now, it seems like an awesome idea! :3

For the most part I'm the only one who actively seeks out characters to cosplay, but my brother, and sister are usually the ones who'll cosplay with me. My little sister, and I are actually doing matching cosplays this year.

If I can ever find a good costume for my mom she said she'll do it too. ^^

My sister and I were planning on the Ashleand sisters from Darkstalkers. We fit the body type well, and figured it would be fun.

My 4 year old son cosplays with me! He cosplayed NegaDuck from DarkWing Duck and Spiderman at Youmacon. Totally photobombed the Persona photoshoot. :P He also has a Ken Amada from Persona 3 costume and wants me to make a Dororo from Sgt. Frog costume to go with my Koyuki.

My mom went one year as Gaara's mother, and another as Ryuk, because she didn't want to be one of those "Hover Parents" who doesn't blend in (I was pretty young, then).
This was my first con without her there, and I missed her a lot more than I would have expected. :)

My daughter did this with one of her best friends and they had the -grandest- time together.

My sister and I cosplay together. We been wanting to do cosplay as the Maria sis. (Mario bros.) Since I'm the oldest and short and she is the youngest and tall.

We also have cousins that go to ACen but they don’t cosplay :( .

The first year I went to ACen with my mom, and because she didn't want to feel left out, she reused my brother's Toshiro robe and a couple things we had around the house, to pull together a Rangiku cosplay from Bleach. Since then, my mom and family has cosplayed with me every year at ACen. My mom has been Hinaichigo from Rozen Maiden, Vulpix from Pokemon, Ms. Sara Bellum from the Powerpuff Girls, and Merida from Brave. I've gotten my siblings into cosplay too. My sister has been Misa from Death Note, Marie from Marie and Gali, and Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls. My little brother has been Toshiro from Bleach, Syaoran from Tsubasa, Mojo jojo from Powerpuff Girls, Eevee from Pokemon, and finally Jake the Dog. My dad wants to cosplay but he always decides to go to the con too late to make a costume. :/ Posted Image

I love the idea of cosplaying with family members, sadly I don't have many that love to do this. The only time it happened was for Halloween. Years ago for a Halloween party, my younger brother dressed up with me. I made an Anakin Skywalker costume and my younger brother was a stormtrooper. He couldn't resist doing it because we both have a soft spot for Star Wars. It was a great experience. We had a blast pretending to fight each other and teaming up to fight off others. I have to say that is one of my most precious memories. Since then, he has seen me making my Loki costume and it made him think, so now he's considering getting a Batman costume (The Dark Knight version). I'm crossing my fingers that he does..I really want to cosplay with him again xP

So this is kind of a secret but I'm in love with family/couple cosplay <3

Aside from my love of nerdy things, my mom helping me with pretty great Halloween costumes every year since childhood makes up a good portion of why I love to cosplay. However seeing that I'm the only one in my family whose really into it I doubt I could ever convince them to. That being said I have seen my mom's Halloween costumes of years past - she rocked characters from Star Trek and a pretty hot Wonder Woman which inspired me to do WW too!

Definitely if/when I have kids they will be getting the cutest costumes, ever. And I'll probably dress up with them - which is way cooler than the same ugg wearing mother-daughter combo that came into my work last week...

Also I would die if I were dating someone that was into cosplaying. Do some adorable couple cosplayer then POOF dead x3
