I am not even sure how to even word the topic title or this post. I hope it is in the right section. But here it goes.

So on Facebook my friend linked me to this cosplay group. It is called:: Anti Western Cosplayers. The link is below. Has anyone else seen this group?

The following is a snippet of what the group is about.

There is no racism in the creation of this group because race are a very important part of Cosplay since all the characters including Anime characters cosplayed by cosplayers were all based on specific human races, for example Anime characters are based on Asian race that were proven by how it is Asians who can succeed cosplaying Anime characters.

The reason why western cosplayers labeled as psychos is because they keep saying they only Cosplay to have fun which in other words they are having fun by doing racism towards other race and by hurting millions Anime fans feelings world wide. As for the reason why western cosplayers labeled as racist can be seen at the 1st justification of this group.

I do not mean for this to be flame-bait, please keep any discussions civilized.

This sounds like ProudtobeAsian and that one article that was from tumblr or facebook, that basically said why Japanese people should cosplay Japanese anime and manga characters, how it's based on looking exactly like the character and acting like the character, etc.

Ok my opinion is that this article is bias and opinionated. Anime and manga are based on European designs in terms of artwork and characters as well as backgrounds. Fake is based on NYC and things like Soul Eater are not even based on countries in general. Also Hetalia has people from other countries, such as Russia, America, Sweden, etc. so that means the person who did this did not do the research at all.

*coughs* Also Korean manga looks almost like Japanese manga and just as popular. so it would be impossible to give a general statement without including that as well.

The posting or mentioning of offensive or contrary statements that would result in offending or angering a third part or group of parties.

Another version of a flamer, except its not directed solely at one person.

Commenting directly at a post like that would do no good, that is what the troll wants, attention. You just have to ignore it and move on or take it with a grain of salt and move on.

Anybody who has to pull the racism card loses all credibility and cannot make arguments.

That being said I'm sure troll stink is all over this but I don't let this bother me, because I know their beef is beyond insanely hilarious. I mean anytime I hear about them I have to keep myself from laughing at how bad they are at this.
