Hey guys!
As always there needs to be a Jrock/pop cosplay photoshoot.

Last year, I was unable to attend to due cosplay emergency. >_<
But hopefully this year will be fine and dandy.

Also, my panel I hosted (that the time got mis-printed! ;w; ), had a great turn out. So if you were able to attend, thank you and I hope to bring back the panel again this year (maybe even an additional panel).

Oh, Erica and I did want to mention ACEN attendees at this panel, were the best group we've had (not the largest) but we really enjoyed the crowd there. So thank you all A LOT.


Any ideas for ACEN 2012?
My friend and I already have some great ideas >=3

I'm going to attempt a J-rock/visual kei tribute cosplay in 2013, I am going to be HIZUMI from D'espairsray, specifically from the Garnet PV. I wish i could join you this next year, but I won't have enough time to complete my cosplay at this point. (hectic school schedule.)

I completely understand having hectic school schedules, most of my sewing will be done in winter break!

Versailles cosplays have been recently really popular, I'm impressed since they're outfits are so boss. O_O
I can't wait to see it in person, have you started working on it at all?

@diedie: Yes I have started it. I have one of the 3 main layers of the skirt done and I have the jacket 80% assembled.

I am definitely going to be at the Jrock/Jpop photoshoot. I am going again as the Gardenia version Mana-sama from Malice Mizer. Hope to see you there! I am going to be in the Masquerade this year, as a walk-on for craftsmanship and might not be able to make it to the saturday shoot. I am hoping to be able to make it to both though so who knows.

I'm debating on whether or not to wear my Aoi MAD MARBLE HELL VISION cosplay. As long as I can find the shoot, I can be there, most likely.

My friend and I are going to be dressed as Punky Heart Maya and Freedom Fighters Miyavi, but I'm not sure what day. We'll do our best to make it to that day's gathering though :3

I'll be there this year though as Haru from Dog in the Parallel World Orchestra. I guess we haven't discussed location or time yet?

I remember we would have two one on Friday and one on Saturday but do you think we should just do one on possibly late Saturday after the LM.C concert? I'm sure there will be a lot of LM.C cosplayers for the event. It doesn't seem like there are a lot of us this year sadly ):

Yeah I feel like we're currently a dying breed :/ It looks like theres less in each thread each time but as long as some of us are still here it won't die! ): But I'm expecting lots of Maya's running around probably because of them coming

I just hope that I don't get Laryngitis again. I got it last year and everyone thought that I was staying in character with Mana-sama even though I wasn't trying to. I guess a lot of people got mad even when I tried to explain that I REALLY COULDN'T talk.

I won't have DECADE Uruha done until this fall, but if there ends up being a shoot and I'm not working, I might show up regardless : )

I set my self up for this year with Ruki from the gazettes Zetsu video. I couldn't get the wig comissioned though. Is this still happening?
