I have been meaning to come to ACen for years for this event. I remember hearing about it from year one and being so sad that I was unable to go. But, this year, I'm not letting it escape my mind! The lineup always seems to be great, so whoever preforms, I'm sure it'll be amazing.

Bring back Raveman, his set was amazing and he was probably my favorite part of the whole thing. Also loved DJ Chucky's Hard Techno set, something I've never heard at any other rave in the Chicago area.

And I would love you guys forever if I'm able to see REDALiCE play live once.

2011 was my first time going, and I loved just about every minute of it, keep it up!

This year marks the 5th year we've been doing the HARDCORE SYNERGY party at Anime Central. Hands down there is no other party at any Anime Con like it. Every year we strive to book the best talent from the underground Japanese electronic music scene, many times looking for artists who themselves have an interest in Anime, Video Games, Manga and Pop Culture. This year we're playing up a bit on our connection to the music video gaming scene in celebration of bemanistyle.com's 10th anniversary as well. We're extremely proud to welcome one of our favorite Japanese DJs, REMO-CON, to the HARDCORE SYNERGY stage for the first time along with up & coming Japanese Gabber producer MYOSUKE! We're also excited to have party mainstays DJ CHUCKY, M-Project and JAKAZiD back, along with the 2nd consecutive appearances of kors k and TANUKI.

This is gearing up to be the best party we've thrown yet. With such a diverse lot of some of the greats in the international hardcore scene you're definitely not going to want to miss it!



This also isn't our last announcement. As we get closer to the con we'll have a few other special guest DJs to announce, along with a few other surprises we have up our sleeves.

all of the artists are listed here: http://www.acen.org/...l-entertainment all of them except the chalk muralist are the Hardcore Synergy artists. Frankly, pretty relieved, after the overabundance of touhou we've had lately (between this and the HS at AX). New Hard core Synergy artist MYOSUKE is coming as well as REMO-CON who hasn't been out for a dedicated event yet (though he has come, it was DJing for another act). Bemani superstar (among other things) KORS K is also attending which will be the first time I've seen him since 2007 *_*

We're currently just waiting to work out a few things logistically, but we can say that if everything works out the program will be limited to only 100 attendees, so make sure you're keeping an eye on us for that information!

Not to our knowledge, we try to make special arrangements with ACen for HARDCORE SYNERGY because we know there's a group of die hards who come specifically for these guest DJs and we want to show our thanks for their support. We cleared things up for the Priority Entry for HARDCORE SYNERGY on Friday night so here are the details!

Come to the mydjsobad.com booth on Friday and purchase a copy of "HARDCORE SYNERGY -the 5th anniversary bootleg-". It's a special CD made for our 5th anniversary that features 7 rare, unreleased, and exclusive tracks from the DJs in our lineup this year. The CD costs $15 and is limited to only 100 copies! Each of those 100 copies come paired up with a Priority Entry pass for the party on Friday night. This special pass compliments your existing Anime Central badge and allows you to skip the line for party. There are only 100 of these passes to go along with the 100 CDs, and we're sure they're going to be snatched up real quick!

You may want to hold off promoting a booth, since there is no such thing in the Exhibition Hall that was communicated to me, and the priority entry, since it hasn't been announced by official ACen staff.

yeah, I can't wait for this. The DJs for hardcore synergy were one of the main reasons I even started going to ACen. I was really hoping BSK would be back, but I still really like the lineup for this year.

Due to some misunderstandings on our part, and a very much needed focus on the safety of the party and general organization of the lines, we're not going to be following through with the previously mentioned Priority Access program. We jumped the gun on a few things, and after I had a talk with the chief of staff this evening we're choosing not to cause a fuss and comply entirely as the reasons for not allowing a priority entry are something that we as a company support and totally agree with. That being said, we are located in the grand ballroom this year, which can accommodate a considerably larger amount of people than we have in the past several years so hopefully the lines won't be very bad at all. We guess time will tell.

I personally apologize for any hopes we may have raised and any confusion we may have caused in this situation, and appreciate the staff at ACen that we work with directly for reaching out to me and talking out the situation. We'll still be selling the special limited 5th anniversary CD at the mydjsobad booth (we'll be added to the map by Friday), and we look forward to seeing everyone there!

Does Hardcore Synergy always have MCs like this year? It was my first HS and didn't dig all the unclear vocals that were just added percussion. The music sounded good, though.
