Here it is! A feeler post for a panel based solely upon Kikiyama's Yume Nikki and the many fangames that have been created for it. There will be discussions, debates and even some games with prizes. Given the nature of some theories and imagery within the YN universe, I'm making this panel for ages 16 and up.
Even if we don't have enough time to discuss, debate and play a ton of games, I still listed a lot for planning wise

Discussion ideas;
YN history - Sharing how Yume Nikki came to be all the way to it's 7th year anniversary
Theories [general] - Theories on the ending as well as general events will be discussed.
Theories [characters] - Discussions on what the characters could represent in Madotsuki's life. Characters like Masada-sensei, Shitai-san, Poniko, etc. will be focused on. Even Madotsuki's very existence will be discussed
Fangames - Discussing the fangames that have erupted after YN. The main ones [Y2kki, .flow] will be shown
YN fandom - Uboa's fame, fanvideos, pairings, personalities, everything dealing with the YN fandom will be looked at. Videos will be shown!

Game ideas;
Theory game - Try to come up with a crazy theory! Those with the craziest will win.
Fangames naming game! - A game where you must list as many fangames that are in existence as possible [there are a lot..] Whoever lists the most in a given time limit wins.
24+ effects - Make up your own effects that you wish the original YN had. The coolest ones will win a prize
Theory debate - Debate on theories and which ones can be ruled out. Popular ones that have circulated around the web [Madotsuki was a victim, Mado was a killer, Mado is a window into social disorders, etc.] will be discussed. This will also include what characters could represent [Masada was her teacher, Toriningen were bullies, etc.]


Who would like to attend this panel? Any ideas on what to debate, discuss or play? Please respond!! It's still very much in the planning stage but if people are interested, I will definitely host it.

I love Yume Nikki, it seems like whenever I think I've found everything in the game....I haven't! The universe surrounding it has gotten bigger with the influx of fangames inspired by it, so I think a panel is in order

Yeah, I would totally go to this if it's there (provided it doesn't conflict with my panel, or I'm too blitzed to go).

And for the cosplayer, I've been going as 8-bit Uboa/Poniko the last two years, dunno if I will this year or not. The thing is a pain in the neck to carry around.
