Setup/Teardown Crew!

This is not a department, but for those of you who are interested in volunteering to cover the cost of your badge, but don't want to miss a minute of anime-goodies during the convention, there's another option:

Sign up for the Teardown crew!
  • Are you good at putting things together while keeping all your fingers and toes intact?
  • Can you follow directions without biting Gendo?
  • Do you know where to GET SOAP?
  • Is creative use of Gaffer's tape a line item on your resume?
  • Can you push a dolly full of t-shirts across a public street with the help of two other dedicated volunteers and not impede traffic or get run over?
  • Do you have experience gently setting up and taking down AV equipment, computer equipment, or game consoles?
  • Do you NEED to be involved with Anime Central next year?

We NEED you, too!
This is my signature. It is only one line.

Is there a deadline Chief of Staff would like the staff applications by? And would it be better to apply now or wait?

I'm considering this and 2 other staff positions, but I'm not sure if I'll be available to work on Thursday and Friday yet. ACen is close to my college's final exams, so there's a possibility that weekday exam times will pose a conflict. I also won't know when my exams will be until I receive my course syllabus' in January. Help please?

Thanks for filling out the form informing us that you are interested in signing up at Acen! Volunteers are always needed! And yes, we are still looking. = ) You choose your time when you would like to Volunteer. When you have the time to contribute you let us know, and we tell you where help is needed. = ) You are signing up to be a volunteer we do not make/assign a set schedule. You are here to have fun @ Acen, so have fun! When you have time, volunteer!

If you would like to help this department and have to work around something, then you are more than welcome to help before (your event of choice) then come on back afterwards and volunteer again! Win! Win!

Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with! Otherwise, look forward to seeing all the new, and returning faces this year! Again, Help is most needed Saturday night and Sunday for Tear Down = )

Feel free to e-mail: Volunteers-DepartmentHead@Acen.org with any questions.

  • Do you NEED to be involved with Anime Central next year?

We NEED you, too!

Do you still need people for teardown crew?
