Well, I was thinking that it'd be cool if they could come. I mean they've made music for a number of anime and are well known. And even though they're like....old...They'd be pretty cool to meet. :>

God I just LOVE all their songs. I have recently been listening to their song Qualia recently. SO GOOD. And pardon me, but all the band members well, they look quite fiiiiiiiiiiiiine. :3 Yum yum!

Heck yes. That one is always full blast in my car. I have this one burned CD of all the UVERworld I have and I got some stares on the road but it was awesome. They are great to listen to when you're stuck in rush hour traffic. ^_^

They're pretty huge in Japan. It would probably cost a boatload to bring them to ACen.

That's what I figured too. And after having a year of FLOW who's also very big I don't think we might see them this year. But you never know ACEN does tend to surprise us....Remember YOSHIKI anyone? :D

Very true. Uverworld is my favorite jrock band so I just don't want to get too optimistic. :3

YES they're my favorite jrock band! I was sad to miss FLOW again! (I saw them at animefest one year)

I'm all for getting UVERworld. I was actually just listening to "Just Melody", "Empty96", and "Revolve" in my car. I have their entire discography (except I'm missing a few of their newer tracks) They are one of my favorite Jpop bands. (My favorite being Perfume, which would be IMPOSSIBLE to book for Acen I'm sure.) They just released a new album the past few months and from what I've heard they might be taking a break soon (so we should get them now before they go away! ;___; ) I mean even Karaoke bars around the area have their newer and older songs, plus their songs are always catchy, they band itself is very energetic and has inspired other Jpop artists. The band itself is known to be pretty hilarious. The bands members are a bit old compared to most Jpop, Jrock artists in their 20's, so they aren't getting any younger. Plus they are kind of in the middle of being Jrock and Jpop, their music appeals to Jrock and Jpop fans. I feel that they appeal to a pretty equal number of female and male audiences and would be perfect for con goers of all sorts of tastes. Flow did really well at ACEN this year -- and in a lot of ways UVERworld is a lot like Flow. Takuya himself has been learning English and really likes the United States from what I've heard -- I think the band itself would have a lot of fun being here and probably wouldn't give the con a super hard time with money issues (at least I hope not). Not to mention their songs are almost always used for really popular anime openings, and their newest singles are big hits.
