I have a question. Do we have a photographer for sure coming? Also what sort of poses will we be doing, I kind of want my dad (who's going as the Nurse joker) to come to this and pose, but I don't want him to feel "strange" if you will with nothing to do.

last year was just group shoots and then specific characters but that could change depending on how we as a gathering toss around ideas.

Last year there was literally no direction, there was a photographer there would showed up though.
We did group shots and then character groups.
There wasn't too many "poses" really, a few with Harley/Ivy and then a Harley(s) with our one Joker but that was sort of it.

Like I said, no direction at all, so hopefully this year will be better.

But a Nurse joker would be awesome at the shoot!

Well maybe we should start talking about what sort of shots we all want.

I can say this much the group I'm bringing includes...

1. Female Riddler (Mixed base of Orignal and Animated)

2. Nurse Joker from the movie.

3. A OC named Hearts who's connected to the joker (Think Harley and Joker's love child)

4. A Red hood and Scarcrow (thought I don't know which he'd be wearing on that day)

Maybe we can base a few on some comic panels, promo arts, or posters?

I'm open to poses but you have to keep in mind :

1. not all those at this gathering will see this thread, so planning ahead isn't always the best idea.

2. not everyone will know what posters and promos you are talking about.

This group and the DC group should be on Saturday pretty much back to back like last year. Unless you all have something different in mind.

Also, I will be Kid Flash now. I unfortunately won't have the riddler costume until nycc.

Perhaps you should print out and bring with anything you specifically want so that everyone is on the same page?

Agreed. People show up who don't even know that there is such a thing as the ACen forums so they wouldn't know what was really going on if we did some planning


I think it will probably be like last year and we will just wing it, but if someone wants to take actual direction I don't think anyone would mind.

I was the one who scheduled last years shoot then didn't show.. Sorry about that again. I live in Cincinnati, ohio and my horse coliced so i had to choose lose my horse or Acen... Sorry i chose to keep my horse. But this year I am coming no matter what!!!

Glad you do, he worked really hard on it, and used it back in 2009 I think when the movie came out. He was smitten with the character and it's his favorite to wear. I'm trying to find other characters that he likes because he enjoyed dressing up as the character and seems to like cosplaying character that he can have a connection to.

Question, would this same group be in the DC photoshoot?

DC Comics & Batman will be 2 different groups. According to the newest schedule, DC Comics is @4pm, & Batman is @4:30pm.

My group will be at a MLP shoot like an hour before this, then we will be running from that to the room to change (all that facepaint!!!) then back to this shoot. You can make it work. You didn't show up last year, you should make up for that this year by showing up in costume!
