Well that cold didn't really kick in until yesterday. I was up with the shivers last night and my poor runny nose, so no gym for me the rest of this week. :<

I have recently finished my 6 months of sensa. Soon i will get weighed and see how much weight i lost in total. The goal was 10-20lbs.

Well I guess dropping in the cardio did the trick. Dropped 2lbs this week to 206. I may actually be able to hit my 200 or less goal by ACen time now.

Finally hit the 20 lb mark! I've lost 20.2 lbs as of this morning. Woo! (About 76 lbs left to go~)

I don't like to be Debbie (or in my case Donald) Downer, but like Nintendo with the WiiU sales, I'm going to have to cut my "forecast predictions" for ACen Fitness progress. :P I don't see myself making the goal this year. If I make any progression, I'll consider it a success but otherwise I'm just going to try to get in ideal shape some point this year. I wish you all well in goals though. :)

I've started doing Insanity every day with my friend (except this morning, because I woke up feeling like a pile of crap), and additional cardio and strength work because I can't really keep up.Man was I sore this morning. But for some reason I kind of enjoy feeling sore from workouts. It feels good in a weird way, probably because it reminds me that I'm making progress. Posted Image

Thanks! I'm feeling much better today, so I think I'll be back to running on Monday.

I too kind of like feeling sore! It makes me feel like I've accomplished something and all that hard work is paying off.

NO! Don't stop!!! Even if it is just 30 or 10minutes a day, you did more than you did yesterday. Remember if you worked out 30 minutes today, it is 30 more then yesterday. Something is better then nothing. Keep getting active. Keep trying. Dance crazy in your living room. :happydance: :happydance: :happydance:

I may be looking at a gym to join this week, but it's getting hard and annoying with the commute. Plus with little time left for ACen and things getting aggravating we'll see what happens. I thank you all for the support, guess it was a bad day Friday. Just need to try and get back on the ship I guess. If I lose ten pounds before ACen ill be happy but 20-30 I don't foresee like originally planned. Maybe I'll be surprised though...

Well last week was a total failure for me, only going to the gym once and being sick. So today I ran, but I totally pushed myself too hard and now feel just awful.

Because of my setback I'm not weighing myself until next month. I have no idea what I weigh right now so I'm pretty anxious about it. I don't want to be disappointed.

Another dance party in my living room! My sister looked at me like I was crazy. :happydance: :happydance: :happydance:

I told a coworker of mine that I was going to the gym, they look at me and asks: "Why, what for?" One look at me and you can tell why I want to go. I'm still young so I can lose the weight I have carried with me all of my life. I'll show you why I need to go to the gym and I'm going to prove to show them by the start of the summer.

I wish there was a gym that didn't require you to sign a 12 month contract or whatever. I'm moving in a few months but would like to go to a gym in the meantime, but everyone wants me to sign a contract. :/ Annoying.

Starting tomorrow I'm looking into Fitness 19. It's not contract but you do have to pay a bit of a high start up cost but from there you can do a limited monthly plan. Can't remember exact rates but I'll post when I get home. But yeah biggest turn offs about joining gyms are those stupid contracts. Going to try and use the treadmill before bed after my program is done. :)

Yeah, I had a contract with a gym in town and then they gave us like a week's notice and up and moved to the next town over, changed their name, and changed their hours. And in order to cancel my contract I had to pay them as much as it would have costed just to stay a member until it expired! Such bs.
Keep pushing, STVO! A little cardio every day is better than none at all.

I use a free online calorie diary to track my progress. Its nice because its super involved and easy to set up individual goals on weight, exercise, food, etc... you can find it at www.myfitnesspal.com and I highly recommend it! I was able to lose 10 pounds in a month from just being conscious of what I was eating and exercising...

Welp, first big challenge of the year is approaching - I'll be going to Kitsune Kon as part of the security team. I'll be making sure to do plenty of walking, but the tough part will be making sure to eat healthyish. We'll see how that goes. :)

I failed hardcore today on my lunch portion of my diet. I had three hot dogs, one chicago-style, one umm..something style, and another something style. Gonna have to cut back a little on the night portion to even things out.

lost all my appitite

Trying to exercise more or less daily but it's not easy when I have a ton of school work to do. Today's probably going to get eaten up with studying Italian.

So in two days I go and get weighed. I am really excited to see if I lost anymore weight. Last I checked, I was down about 15lbs at month 3 of Sensa. So I am hoping to have lost a little more.

Meanwhile, since stopping I am have started up with my dance covers again and am still eating smaller portions and trying to drink lots of water.

Thank you Kii!! :) Yeah gyms are evil. I went to Fitness 19 on Tuesday to hear some information and get a 7-day free trial. They wouldn't give me the trial because I used one 5 years ago. :\ It was a $59 start up fee with $15/month or $197 with $7/month and cancel anytime. Almost wanted to do the $59 deal but decided against it as weather will likely be better soon (Spring, it's time for you to stop hitting the snooze button and wake up) and I'll admit not being allowed to use the trial kind of made me upset.

We have these days sometimes. Best thing you can do is if you're hungry just try balancing it out with healthy food if you can.

On my end, I'm using the treadmill at my folks home more and have been eating healthier! My work offered free snack cakes to us (Swiss Rolls and Nutter Butters) as much as I wanted some I declined. Yay! LOL. I think I'm back on track. That Fitness 19 experience pissed (if this is censored, ticked) me off so I'm going to use the treadmill, some DDR, and Saturday yoga for the mean time. I have a conflict tonight... It's my dad's birthday and he's gonna have a cake. I'm gonna try and avoid it but we'll see lol.

re; myfitnesspal, it also has an iPhone app that I just downloaded last night. I like it so far. This should help me keep track of calories better, though it may be hard to keep track of crap I have at the college food court.
