I typically roam around conventions taking snapshots. When a cosplay piques my interest I ussually offer an impromptu photoshoot to the cosplayer(s). I'm also open to arranged photoshoots during the convention dates (please see my site for more details).
At ACEN this year I'm very interested in doing photoshoots of old-school anime cosplay (ie City Hunter, Bubblegum Crisis, Macross, Patlabor) as well as cosplay from recent shows in the past year (ie Last Exile: Fam, Brave 10).

I've been doing photography for a few years now. I generally take a few random snapshots but I prefer doing individual shoots because I like having time to get better shots. I'm easygoing during shoots but I'm very deliberate in order to get well exposed and in focus shots.

I'm posting pretty late but I also kind of decided to go to acen pretty late as well... I've only attended one con before, acen2010, and this time I intend to go primarily for shooting great cosplay (sneaking in events when I can). If you have great cosplay this year, know your character and poses and want great photos (hopefully XD) then give me a msg or if you find me wandering around (probably will have a panda hat on my head or on me somehow) then just give me a "HI!".
