Summer Anime List

I really like this list cause it provides an Image and basic info on the series, plus its easy to save since it comes in JPG format.

The list comes from Neregate.Com, they usually release list by seasons. (The link I provided is SFW but beware that some sections of the site arnt/NSFW so dont stray off from my link)

Looking forward to Blood-C (really because CLAMP worked on it, since I never seen any of the other Blood series), then the Heart no Kuni no Alice and the FMA movies. While I have no doubt that Funimation will eventually release the FMA movie in the dub I adore, I really hope someone picks up the HnKnA movie and then pick up Blood-C at least for streaming.

I think this season I'm gonna sit out. I'm still gonna keep up with Hanasaku Iroha but as for anything new I'll wait and see. However, this fall season looks absolutely amazing. I know I'm gonna be watching more then ever that season

Yea, the fall season looks really good but Im not posting the list up untill it draws closer tho seeing as of yet there is very little information regarding the series that will put out.

I posted this summer one mainly because I really endjoyed this last Spring Season, lots of awsome series got released.

Yeah. Probably not a good idea to post the fall list until we get a little closer. It sucks when you look at it and you see something you really want to see and as you get closer. It doesn't air.

Usagi Drop -- never mind I just saw a spoiler on how the manga ends and it is very creepy.

Can't name any that I'm dying to see. It'll probably be like the spring anime list where I thought they all looked uninteresting then it turns out that I loved most of them.

Can't wait for the Kore ha Zonbi desu ka? Ova though!!! I've also waited 2 or 3 years for the Heart no Kuni movie so of course I'm super excited for that.

Just seen Blood-C came out, but im not interested in that what Im waiting for is Sacred Seven. It should come out today!! =D

everyone didn't die just one guy did and even then that was an exception since he came back.

There are a few others but I can't think of any right now.

I might check out all of these in between watching other random anime shows.

Shows that I have watched so far:
Natsume Yuujin-Chou San: If you liked the first two editions you will like this one as well. If you have not seen the first two editions do not start at this one, go back and watch the 26 previous episodes first.
Uta no Prince-sama: If you enjoy pop music and color pallets that will give you migraines this show might be for you. It really has no substance at all but I guess that is fitting for a show that revolves around an idol school. The only lingering question I have after the first episode is if the main character is posed by the devil or something...those eyes wtf.
Ikoku Meiro no Croise: This might be the show that will end up surprising me the most. Looking at the descriptions I wasn't that interested in the show. After the first episode I am very interested i this show. It lacks any action or glitz or glam it does have a dynamic characters, well written dialog and a good story. If you think that Micheal Bay is one of the greatest directors of all time then I would suggest avoiding this show, everyone else watch it.
Kami-sama no Memo-chō: As a fan of Film noir this show gives me a bit of a conniptions. At times it has great gritty mystery elements but then will switch over to generic moedom that make me cringe. If the show can showcase its real life mystery side then it may turn into a very good show.

I watch the first episode and I was hooked, Episode 2 was even better.

We are around the half way point on the Summer 2011 season what is still on everyone's watch list?

Heaven`s Memo Pad, My least favorite of the season but still entertaining. It is licensed by Sentai Filmworks but I'm not sure if I would pick it up on disc at this time.

No.6, I'm kinda disapointed in a way with the show, for a noitaminA it seems kinda light. It is the best show to debut in the Summer of 2011, but I would rank it towards the bottom of the noitaminA rankings. This two is licensed by Sentai Filmworks and I'm not sure if I will be buying the discs when they come out.

Steins;Gate, My favorite show that is airing right now. I only started to watch the show do to it's producer being at Acen this year. My first thoughts of the series were "Oh another dating sim show, how wonderful...and it related to Chaos;Head this is bound to suck so hard." I was wrong the show does not fall into the trap that most dating sim shows do of having each episode or group of episodes focus on one character. If you didn't know that it was from a dating sim you would never have guessed based on the show. FUNimation Entertainment picked the show up a bit ago and I am awaiting for pre-orders to start being taken.

Croisee in a Foreign Labyrinth ~ The Animation, I'm taking a hiatus from the show well it is good and I enjoy watching it, it is getting shuffled back in my priority list. Another Sentai Filmworks title but I'm sure that I will not be buying the release.

because of hints of shonen ai. Both sides of the debate are pissing me off because they are extremes.

I might watch Usagi drop. I heard nothing but good things about it. Funny I was watching P. drum lol.

As far as I can recall the first ep of the anime wasn't available till July. Maybe you watch a pilot episode?

The spring season is still going strong tho, I'm still hooked on Torikio, Blue Exorcist, Tiger & Bunny and Stains;Gate.

As far as summer, Dentalion no Shoka, Mayo-Chiki and Penguin Drum are my favorites.

Penguin Drum is very good though. Tiger and Bunny is actually one of those big hit shows in terms of conventions/cosplay/doujinshi/etc. I constantly see people mention that one.

I wish Stains;Gate games were released in the USA!

Also following up on Natsume Yuujinchou San, still excellent into its 3rd season. Agreeing with jsieczkar that if you liked the first 2 seasons you'll love the third.

Penguin Drop is on my "to watch eventually" list, loved Utena and friends are saying it's excellent.

I watched an episode of Sacred Seven due to a friend's recommendation. Watchable for someone new into anime or if you showed it to me several years ago, but I've got some major complaints:
1. It's not subtle. At all- everything from events in the 1st episode to the dialogue to the coloring and artwork, everything just is clunky or clashes with something right next to it.
2. The female characters all either wear a maid outfit or something ghastily ostentatious.
3. The main male character is too stoic- when he walks into a room, everything just goes silent and he makes people react just by looking at them. Oh, and he barely ever had any dialogue.
4. It tries too hard to want to impress the viewer.

For me, not worth the trouble of going through with a second episode. Despite the main male character's final form looking rather cool.
