OK SO I'M TERRIBLE AT TALKING TO PEOPLE I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO WORD THIS.....................

Ok hi um i'm not really a newbie to ACen (i went last year), but i'm kinda new to cosplay and REALLY new to gatherings (i really don't know how these things work ;; )

So i'm planning on cosplaying Dog Tier Jade, and I think my friend is cosplaying God Tier John.

is anything planned yet?

Oh so you mean that I'm not the only person in this situation? O:! I know how you feel - last year was my first Acen, and I was confused as heck! But to put it simply, gatherings are (to my knowledge) when everyone dressed for a certain fandom gets together in one spot at a specific time, and then everyone starts taking pictures! There were a lot a group shots at the one gathering I went to, such as all of the people dressed as one character or everyone from a group. After the group shots, a lot of people went off and took smaller, private pictures. Sorry if this isn't a very good explanation .__. I'm still a newb at this whole process too, so I'm just saying what I know. And I do believe that there are two photo-shoots planned, one on Friday and one on Saturday.

Also, if it's of any importance, I've changed my cosplay plans again. I won't be a Homestuck anymore (D:), because I'm planning on doing a Problem Sleuth cosplay now. But hey, it's still part of MSPA, right? :D I may or may not cosplay Rose as well, if I have the time and money for the supplies, and I'll (hopefully!) be bringing along a flute-playing Jade and a Humanstuck Sollux.

I may be down to just doing Roxy as I have a feeling my Rose costume won't fit by late April. We shall see. I did manage to convince another friend to come along with me to push me around should I need a wheelchair, though :thumbup:

So, hello Homstucks.

Be prepared! For I will soon be showing you my stabs

I'll be finishing my Jack Noir costume in time for the convention! Six feet per wing, plus a full head dog face.

Along those lines, I'm looking for a couple people that'll be heading to the photoshoots anyway to help me get there. I'm staying away from the main convention hotels, but I'll probably get dropped off at the convention center and then walk to the shoot area. I'm looking for at least two people, one to watch the wings in back, and the other to help me see in front. I'm looking for some responsible people, that will pull through in any circumstance, barring major emergencies.

Further, you might be needed to help me assemble myself a bit, because I'll need to put the wings on when I get out of the car.

Welp. Six years at ACen and I've never once used the forums, since I've never really been involved with any fandoms as much as I have gotten into Homestuck. :3

I'll be around as Redglare on Friday, along with my friend cosplaying God Tier Nepeta (we found the perfect Hero of Heart colors at JoAnn's today, on sale for 2.50 a yard, plus coupons we had. So yay!), God Tier Dave with her Dog Tier Jade on Saturday, and Dersite Dave on Sunday, and maybe Saturday night if I feel like wearing purple pajamas then.

Anyways my Aradiabot cosplay plans fell through after I harbored a liking towards the Handmaid and Roxy. I'm gonna be the young Handmaid one day and Roxy the other... any suggestions on which day I should do which cosplay?

Yep, they're listed here. Both appear to be at l0ading d0cks a and b 0_0. Which are both outside, can't really describe it but I'm sure it'll be easy to find the huge mass of trolls and such.

Although - even though late - I'm working on setting up a Drawing Party/Meet. Of course, it will be an 'unofficial gathering', though I was just wondering how many of you would like to come! So, are any of you interested?
