Meeting people, cosplaying, have awesome random conversations with people and you become friends because of that.

How about the ultimate escape from reality where anime, manga and Japanese culture is right there in front of you and Rosemont fora weekend becomes one of the awesomest places on Earth! woooot

I like the fact that you can meet people with similar interests and as stated before, it is also an escape from reality.
ACen 2011: Friday- Maka (Soul Eater) Saturday- Belle, yellow gown (Beauty and the Beast) Sunday- Katara or Maka

It's walking across the street and 3 am to wake up your friend who has to work in 3 hours just to tell her you love her and then going back out to get hugs and meet some people who you may never see again or making a new best friend that you can't live without knowing.

It's being able to not worry about a single care in the world for a whole weekend and just being whoever you want to be *the real you* and everyone accepting it as is.

It's being able to wake up and look outside your room to see a different world has appeared and characters who are usually in your tv/computer screen walking around like you just stepped into another demension.

I like everyone's responses. I like cosplaying, seeing everyone's cosplays, meeting people and making friends, being in your hotel, seeing the panels, and being away from everything for awhile to have some fun!

hanging with the abundance of friends i made throughout the year at random meetups , seeing all the cosplays and how everyone is in their element enjoying themselves and the swag the dealers room is my playground for going broke lol I LOVE IT
