A con in my home town, yay! Okay, so that shows my obvious bias right there, furthered by me being the Reg DH this year.

Ikasucon is July 8-10 this year, so just barely over a month away. It's in Fort Wayne, IN. Have a google maps of it

We have guests! Sonny Strait, Jamie McGonnigal, Michael Poe, Steve Nunez.

It's a small con, so you won't have to worry about being crowded out of anything you want to do. Also if you care about guests, more chances to interact with them.

Out side of the con, there's the local week long Three Rivers Festival starting that weekend, with many things going on downtown (where the con is), like a parade a few blocks away Saturday morning, some carnival rides and "Food Alley". And randomly on Friday, the baseball stadium is having a Harry Potter theme night. I predict some local HP cosplay will be going on there. The general area is people friendly, with lots of affordable food places (not just fast food, too) in all directions from the consite. And really spacious hallways so little worries of oppressive confunk from being cramped. (I can even suggest places for cosplay photos off consite for people into that sort of thing.)

Registration and Cosplay are looking for staffers that I'm aware of. If you can't access the forums, I suggest going to the face book page ti see what's posted in the discussions there.

I can only answer questions about registration in official copacity.
