btw... did we actually... decide on a day/time yet? Any thoughts on that? Seems like Saturday late morning/early afternoon is the trend, unless I'm remembering wrong?

Do we have an idea of where it will be yet either? Cuz last year we had to practically do 2 photoshoots because it was SUPPOSED to be one place, but then it rained, so we moved it, so people weren't informed... So maybe we need a "If it's clear, here, if it's rainy, here" kind of plan?

I wasn't there for last years photoshoot, but I'm sure we'll figure something out. It is a bit early to pick a set date XD

I'm okay with either Saturday or Friday, but sometime in the afternoon. =]

I finally got my Princes Garnet wig which looks great and also is the same exact color as my hair. I now know what I would look like with hair down to my butt XD

Not sure if i mentioned this yet, but I do have a Freya, Quina, and a Kuja added to the group. Well, my friend said he would do Kuja but haven't started on it yet.
I am working on my boyfriend's Zidane cosplay which is looking great so far! =D
Also! my friend and her twin is cosplaying Terra and Esper Terra =D

All right, how does everyone feel about the shoot being Saturday at noon, at either left or right loading dock? Both are big enough and have alternately been the typical location in the past.

I'm not sure, but it looks like alternate locations are picked by staff if the group is big enough. Wasn't last year's alternate location in the convention center? I didn't make it in time so I don't know exactly where.

Also, anyone specifically want to organize the shoot? I'm just here to list the cosplays and such.

Bringing Lightning Farron - probably her normal FFXIII version. The XIII-2 version looks so hard to make and is expensive to buy x.x Maybe next year? My sister and her fiancee want to be Snow & Serah, but thing is I'm not sure if they will have it done in time for the convention... (they'll probably debut at Ramencon) but I will have Lightning done in time for Anime Central ^__^ Put me down.

Looks like I'll be seeing you at two shoots =^o^= Got a time put in yet for this shoot?

XIII-2 is a bit difficult, true. I wanted to do XIII-2 Serah, but I'd rather fall back to my Yuna cosplays since I haven't done her since '09 when my group did Berserkers. Haven't put in for the time yet since I'm not really keen on actually running the shoot, just wanted to get the cosplay list up and couldn't wait for someone else to do it, lol. Some people wanted Saturday late morning/early afternoon, so I figured noon at either loading dock.

I think you're handling things very well yourself Yunie. :3 I will be in costume, so I in particular do not want to organize the photoshoot. Howeever, I am bringing my camera with me.

Thanks for the encouraging words. :3 Looks like we've got the organization factor worked out. Tomorrow we'll be casing the Hyatt grounds for a better location than the loading docks. Keep an eye out!

And I might want to hit you up for that private photoshoot. Normally a friend does one for me, but I think she's swamped. Do you charge for a block of 30-60 mins?

Okay guys, my partner and I did some exploring at the Hyatt today. He's a photog so he's a pretty good judge of space.

We decided that the best outdoor location would be
- East Outdoor Wall for first choice.
- Tree Patch for second choice [the shoot was there in '09 and seemed roomy-ish].

Alternate first choice for bad weather is the same as last year:
- Convention center: entrance of the dealer hall, right beside the escalators.
- Lower dome for second choice.

Wow! You must live nearby or something =o I think you've picked some really good spaces for the best locations for shoots and in case of back-up due to weather. Great job! I agree with them >3
