My boyfriend and I will be there!

I'm working on our Dragon Age 2 cosplays (Fenris and Merrill) now, and if I can get my butt in gear we'll have Magic: The Gathering costumes as well - ideally Elesh Norn and a Priest of Norn, but it may end up being Liliana Vess and Gideon Jura if I can't get a handle on making latex prosthetics. We'll see.

And we'll probably have our Borderlands (Lilith and Mordecai) costumes with us too, hopefully with a Brick and Roland!

I go every year. Lots of great photos. No drunks or pot-heads.

Decide on your masters, people, for you cannot serve both. Either be an anime con or be a 3-day frat party. (I'm Done with ACen.)

I will probably be dragged there by my cousin, she doesnt like going to Anime cons because she doesnt know any of the characters but she knows plenty about comics; And I need to complete my deadpool collection anyways.

Not sure If I will cosplay for it tho.

It's the same weekend as my Relay for Life event but since my fellow Chicago Division Ghostbusters will be there I'm thinking of dropping in on Sunday for a bit (if I don't sleep through the entire day!)

since some people thought i was cosplaying superboy at ACEN this year...idk y, since i wasn't in cosplay, it was just my regular cloths, XD...I might actually do a superboy cosplay if i can go to this.

I'll be there on Saturday wearing my Brak costume for the last time before I brainstorm a new costume(s) for next year.

This, ACen, and C2E2 are my favorite cons. Do any of you plan on meeting any celebrities or artists? I'm low on money but I would like to get a picture with Christopher Lloyd but I've heard he charges as much as $60 and the most I'm willing to pay is $30. Angus Oblong is also going to be there, I hope he doesnt charge or doesnt charge much, he seems cool and funny. I've met many wrestlers in the past as well as George Lowe, the voice of Space Ghost.

I don't know if I'm getting my picture taken with anyone. I'm a bit overwhelmed by the fact that there are going to be so many great guest there ,but the prices are kinda scary. I am super excited that a lot of the buffy cast memebers are going to be there. :thumbup:

It's more towards American movies/comics/video games but I think I have seen some anime-related items at some of the shops there. I could be DEAD WRONG but I swear Funimation attends Wizard World too sometimes. There's the Artist Alley there as well and they feature several similar artists that Anime Central features. I do see people cosplaying as anime characters there as well: I've seen Faye Valentine, Goku of DBZ, and a couple others though I'll admit there are more people cosplaying as comic or American made characters at this convention.

I recommend it if you're into comics in addition to anime. If you're a pro wrestling fan (or were at one time) lots of wrestlers are there signing autographs. That's another big thing in comparison to a convention like Anime Central, ACen may have some voice actors and music artists, but this convention is largely built on celebrities these days.
