Last year I thought about cosplaying 2 versions of Ciel Phantomhive from Black Butler. Since I'm doing Miku Hatsune next year, I'll def put Ciel in my cosplay plans for 2013, but just 1 version. Another character I'm looking at is Amu Himamori from Shugo Chara! Haven't seen the anime but I have plenty of time from now til 2013 to get to know more about her.

Oddly enough, it really wasn't. The people who saw it thought we were dating, and that lessened the awkwardness quite a bit. Plus, I wasn't seeing anyone at the time (and judging by his actions...he wasn't either). I was really in character anyway, so I thought...may as well try it. (When I'm in character, I am the character. I seriously became Grell that entire weekend, it was a ton of fun XD)

If I had been out of costume, I never would have even entertained the idea. But, I let myself "become Grell" for a while, and thought, "why not."

That was my mindset almost the whole time.
The first time I found him I was really flustered (i'm normally very VERY shy and become flustered easily around guys) so I just started "being Grell" and the guy totally played along, it was a ton of fun! Some people came by and got some pics of us, and then we went separate ways. Then I saw him the next day and thought...."oh man...this is awesome "

That's a good point. I did find him on Deviantart (by sheer luck, no joke)...so maybe I can get a hold of him that way...at this point it wouldn't matter how I ended up contacting him, even if it was through the forums, I'd look like a creeper. <shrugs>

Not at all! It's just being friendly. :3 Just contacting him through something innocent like DevArt is completely fine. Now tracking him down through people searching sites would be a lil creepy, but you're not doing that so it's all good.

Exactly! I had a friend that gave my number to some random guy and he wouldn't stop calling me for weeks! Its very creepy!

@inkwell09 Yeah we are a bit off. I don't think many people really thought of what they will do for 2013. I keep changing my mind now for Acen 2012, I'm likely to change my mind a billion times by 2013.

As for 2013, I'll be bringing back some things I've worn for 2012, as for exact ones, it'll depend on how well/not well they're received and who does/doesn't get recognized. As for new cosplays, one cosplay I'm looking into right now is Kamui Gakupo in the LovelessXXX outfit. Otherwise, if a new anime comes out between now and 2013 that features a character I'd love to cosplay, then that might get added in as well. All my new cosplay premier slots for 2012 are taken...

*Realize there is no girl cosplay* ......I gotta change it again. Raidou is final though. I decided not to do Hetalia because I have been doing Hetalia for about two years running. @Fujoshi: Yeah I get what you mean with the Hetalia cosplayers. But never be afraid to cosplay it though, regardless of the fan base. Be you! But change is good though. I would do a different version of Motoko Kusanagi but I haven't had the money and now that I finally have a job I can save up but I just started so I haven't been paid yet and I have school to pay for.... Change is the spice of life! XD But Raidou should be awesome though.

I think thougg by 2013 I'll definitely have another Motoko cosplay...which one I'm not sure now. Because I'd like to do her military outfit or her Solid State Soceity outfit. And if maybe, oh just maybe, if there is another GITS: SAC series out, I would cosplay Motoko's recent outfit from that.

I could do art book versions. But believe it or not, I have this weird self-conscious thing about me is if people don't recognize me, it means my cosplay isn't good. And I have this weird thing I need to get over that when people don't recognize me (GITS isn't the most main stream known anime like Bleach or something) it gets me down. I know it's bad to think like that and I do need to get over it. XD Motoko has a lot of awesome art book versions for sure!

And of course--don't let the bad fans get you down. All animes have bad fans. The ones that just ruin it for everybody...just ignore them. Be yourself and have fun. If Hetalia is your favorite anime be loud and proud about it! Don't be embarrassed! That's why I don't like to dis "Narutards" or "Bleachtards" "One Piece-tards" because they like that anime so much for a certain reason and when people put them down for liking it it's really rude because they don't know why that anime is their favorite. Maybe their personal life connects to a certain character or something or it was their first anime or for any reason...it makes that anime special to them. And Hetalia is just super awesome anyway!

And I'm not a huge Vocaloid expert, do you mind posting a pic of those Miku versions? I tried to find them but I'm having a hard time knowing which is what version since I'm not the most familiar with Vocaloids. ^^;;; they sound really cool though.

That is so awesome! The picture itself is cool, but the character looks really cool. All black, and I don't think a wig would be too hard to find for it either. I'm really liking the umbrella!
