I preregged for 2012, when does it show up in the system? Preregistration for 2012

I preregistered for Acen 2012 on Sunday. I paid in cash and filled out the little form. The rainbow-haired girl at the counter said they weren't giving receipts, but that in about 3 days I would be able to see my registration status if I logged in on the Acen site. I know that was an optimistic estimate and I don't really expect it to have been done already. It's only been 5 days and I don't see anything there when I login. Do you know when those forms will be entered?
Also, I was concerned about badge mailing, since there wasn't an option to pay for it. The Registration girl said that they may send me an email later about it. I really, really want my badge mailed, of course, so I hope that happens!

It's great to hear that you're coming back for 2012! the more the merrier.
right now, I cannot give an estimate on when information is going to be available in the reg system. As you mentioned, it was only 5 days ago that we packed everything up from the con.
I know Registration has a lot of emails to catch up on, but I would email registration @ acen.org with your information. It may take them a little bit as the amount of emails to catch up on I hear is big, but they should be able to answer any questions for you.

Hi, sorry about the lack of receipt. Could you pm me your really name and e-mail? I will make a note of it and send it to the ADH. I'm not too sure of when we will be doing the 2012 Pre-registrations, but I will make sure to look up your information if you give it to me.

I will say that it's going to be longer than a few days. The staff needs to manually input all the information from those little sheets everyone filled out. As stated before, its only been a few days since stuff was fully packed up and taken back, so give us a little time and things should start flowing. I know we are already working towards things for next year so that should be tackled soon. :]

Registration has not started entering forms yet as our finance staff are going through them all again to get daily attendance etc. Once we have them back it will take a little while to get all of the forms entered since there is over 8000 of them. It should be updated before we open online reg again though.

I always pay the extra for it to be mailed. Honestly, I think anyone who pre-register should just cough up the money and do it. That's just me though.

Part of the reason for the line this past year was because so many didn't select mailing. It went from 1500 will call in 2010 to over 4000 in 2011. It really is worth the $2 for the mailing and you get a fancier badge

I wanted to give an update to where the Registration Team is on getting all the people who pre-registered for ACen 2012 at the convention last May into the system.
We are still working on going though the forms and looking specifically for those who have pre-registered to make sure that no one will be missed. At the same time, we are pulling the information from ALL the forms for importing into the system. Because we have thousands and thousands of forms, this will not be done as quickly as we had anticipated at first glance; we want to ensure that everyone is accounted for. However, now that we no longer have to split our concentration between getting registration set to open and the 2011 registration forms, I hope that things will speed up some.
If you have any questions about your 2012 pre-registration from the 2011 convention, please contact us at registration@acen.org.
I will ask that you please keep in mind that all ACen staff are volunteers and put time in registration between our day jobs and personal lives; this is a very large project for the Registration Team to tackle.
