Well for like 2 years I kept trying to reset my password, but every time it'd go through the motions nothing would happen. It finally worked yesterday and I'm happy. I used to have many many good conversations here, with many a good folk. :3

Ahhh...yeah. I have that issue with another website right now for their shopping cart of all things (I think last week was the 2 month mark). Frustrating as heck.

Hey, I don't like following the current. I use whichever words I deem interesting to me, at any given moment. Folk is one of them. :3 I like it. Its a good word. Better than people. People is too utilitarian...too derogatory. Maybe I'm just over analytical. >:3

Thanks for the welcome back. Yeah, my first year I went with my friend and his cousin. I didn't really know anybody, but that soon changed. Seven years since then. I've only missed two. Mainly because of family issues and health (and money -.-). I think I got on the forums right after that and pretty soon I was rife with friends from all over. I even met a girlfriend here. I've only gone to one meetup, I think. That was fun too.

All I can say, to people who go to the con...don't be a wallflower. It doesn't pay. You're much better off being outgoing and much less shy. Trust me, I used to be pretty reserved. I still am, but I don't let it get in the way of making friends and having fun. I'm too much of a Kender. If you don't know what a Kender is, I'm sorry. You'll have to read Dragonlance. Ok, you twisted my leg. They're like really outgoing nosy Hobbits, with walking sticks boasting a slingshot at the top. I care more for plug and play experience and little for cultural or institutional protocols. That's why I'd be a good (and bad) con staffer.
