Normally I enjoy creepy, I tend to side with evil characters but Orochimaru was just a little too far out there for my own taste.

Personally, I really don't like Gaara. >.< I have a friend who picks on me for liking characters, too, only it's in a much more friendly way. I have a tendency to really like the biggest a-holes like Aizen, and she hates them, and she instigates a few petty arguments that never really make any sense, but nothing's ever bad. I tend to dislike a LOT of characters, but I never get mad at people for liking those characters.
And Oro-chan, I mostly only like him because he's nice to Kabuto, and I really like Kabuto. XD

I like Orochimaru, but his tongue is creepy and stretchy! Plus his voice kinda scares me. But besides that, he's a pretty cool villain.

I almost cosplayed as Orochimaru for Halloween one year....but I switched to Kankuro last minute. (it's funny how quickly the forum conversation ends up off topic XD but that makes it fun too XD)

Yeah! I never got that either. And Orochimaru too...what's with the lines on his eyelids that make him look like a creeper/Gene Simmons? Hmmm.

My Kankuro is no longer in existence, sadly. But I do remember how unhappy I was to find out that my makeup wasn't waterproof. That was a mood-ruiner. I looked like I'd been beaten up after two hours. (smeary makeup and hot weather...not a good combo.)

Going as a female version of the 11th Doctor from Dr. Who. I love his quirkyness and gosh darnit his bowtie rocks. Might do a Dalek Dress too.

I'm doing a group meeting for the people in my Doug group and some other close friends who want to cosplay and weren't a fan of the show Doug. So while it's possible I "might" still do a Doug group, there's a very good possibility we may cosplay as something else (Mario characters are an early possibility.) I will still be PeeWee Herman at least once or twice at the convention though. If the group concept falls through completely, I think I might bring back a popular costume from a past ACen that made people laugh but scared them as well, lol.

I'm thinking of going as him again for Halloween this year, the only downside is I did not save the original costume with the exception of the red tie. It won't be too hard to find, but I'm mad that I didn't save it but that's what happens when your closest gets too full of past costumes and other junk.

OMG! Dude! If you are serious about that, please let me know! A PeeWee-Cowboy Curtis meet-up at ACen would be EPIC! Oh man, if ACen allowed non-Japanese skits, I would totally consider doing a PeeWee skit for the Masquerade! So far, my plan is to go as PeeWee on Friday (and maybe Thursday to roam around the hotels and possible Meet N Greets? ) and then my other costume on Saturday and Sunday. If you're serious Kuro, I'm definitely interested in a possible meet-up and maybe I'll try to get others to dress up as PeeWee characters (one friend said he would do Randy, lol.) Shoot me a PM!

BTW, the Doug group might be off. We might be doing costumes where I might dye my hair from black to blond, but I might get a blond wig only because I want to save my black hair for PeeWee. Either that or I'll buy a black hair wig to continue being PeeWee? Decision decisions. I'll officially announce the group costume when we decide it next week.

Misty is for sure. Germaine is looking highly likely now that she has the new design with the ponytail which'll be easier to style (I hope.) Butters is pretty much for sure, as well. I'm pretty sure my sister is going as Kenny this year, too :3

speaking of thinking of other cosplays and booting out other options....I've been considering my 2013 idea, and I think it might have more prevalence this year....unless some monstrous D'espairsray press release comes out at some point. I just don't know that I'll have the time to ever finish it (or even get started and still juggle all the senior year activities and important things i've got going on...) <headdesk>

All things into consideration, even if I had the time to make the tribute Garnet HIZUMI...I don't think it would turn out as well. I need to do something simple this year (and get better at sewing...) before I attempt something so intense. So it's still Tyki, Eridan, and PJ Germany.

Yes, I'm sorry, there were a lack of interest and I felt that the people who I had interested in doing a cosplay group might have wanted to do something else. We're all going to talk about it on the weekend, so we'll see.

Yeah I have that problem too. I especially have it when the character has like 5 different outfits. That is what makes it even worse! T_T But which characters are you considering? (Like the whole list you keep switching from?)

Awww, I'm sorry to hear that STVO! T_T Well it's okay you can always cosplay him yourself if you want, and also have the other cosplay group with your friends as well if the Doug group falls through? Keep us updated. But if you really want to cosplay Skeeter, then go for it!!!

I started out with 3 different cosplay's of Leon Kennedy from RE, then I decided to add Germany, so I took away one of the Leon cosplays, then I wanted to do Vash from Trigun, then I canceled that and went back to Germany again, then I thought about going as Zero from Code Geass again this year but decided not to so then I added America. Now I've been watching the new Thundercats and thought about going at Tygra, but that would be a bit much so I changed my mind again. I'll change my mind another hundred times before Acen 2012.

That's awesome, but choosing is the fun of it in my opinion. Thinking and making designs and stuff. Sometimes I think it's more fun designing cosplays then making them sometimes lol.
