I have lots of cosplays I planned for this year but ended up doing some other ones instead. For 2012 I'd really like to do an Ikuto (from shugo chara) cosplay and I want to do a Pokemon group with some friends (not sure which Pokemon I'll be yet...I'm kinda known amongst my friends for having cool Pokemon cosplays xD)

Anyone have any plans for 2012 already? My plans always change before the con ends up happening, but as of right now what would you like to do?

As of now, it's Sakura from Street Fighter. I like sticking to one costume per convention as I commute to ACen via car but if my friends and I manage to snag a hotel room, then I'll bring along the cosplay I'm planning for C2E2, X-23.

Since your doing pokemon that site has great reference to what pokemon would look like as Humans. I used it for my pokemon cosplay at Metrocon last year.

I did cyber goth this year, so I think I want to go with steampunk for next year instead.

All of my time right now is being spent on working on Anders from DA2, because I really want to get it accurate and down right, so if that doesn't totally fall through, that'll probably be what I bring along next year, along with Gamzee again.

Love that site. I've used their pictures for inspiration ^^ (I usually just google the Pokemon I want and mix and match ideas from different photos along with my own ideas)

Ooh, my friends and I are all doing Hetalia (I'm France), and my secondary cosplay is either going to be Hedyeh from Ladies Versus Butlers or Hannah from Kuroshitsuji! Or, if I get in trouble for switching shows, Hong Kong from Hetalia. SO MUCH EXCITEMENT!!

Everyone uses that site, and they're kind of bland for costumes, imho. I prefer to get ideas from pixiv.net, they seem to be better.

I don't know what I'll do for 2012. I kind of have a list I just go down. I really want to do Rachel Alucard from Blazblue, but I'm always afraid it may be too warm. Maybe being in April next year will be better. Living in the midwest really limits travel for winter cons, where her outfit would be desired attire.

I'm so pumped for 2012! My friend and I were already plotting cosplays on the second day. We've decided on Dragon Ball Z and Avatar: The Last Airbender. No spoilers from us yet, but it's going to be good.

MEMEMEEEEE!!!!1 I'm probably going to make K-9 from Doctor Who, a sort of gijinka version; I'll probably have it for Chicago TARDIS. I might also go to Yugioh, too, in which case I'll be Bakura(Duelist Kingdom version). I might do Pokemon too, depending on, I dunno. It's a long way off, I suppose.
It also depends on if I get into anything else. I mean, a couple weeks ago I'd never have known I'd ever like Yugioh. Doctor Who is my eternal love, though. <3

I was brainstorming Sunday morning, so yeah, getting a jump on it.

The only one I'm sure of is Boogiepop; I've finally decided I've procrastinated on her long enough. I may also go through with Alan Gabriel from Big O. Then me and my friends also want to do a Bleach group one day, so either I'll be Ise Nanao, Ishida, or even Yoshi from the Bount Arc.

This is also in doubt simply because it'll take a bit of planning, but I may also do a Human!Tachikoma, just to push my limits.

I can't decide between Hazama from BlazBlue, Hagi from Blood+, or Arrancar arc Aizen. I'm leaning more towards Hagi because no one is ever really him anymore, or Aizen because I didn't see many this year. I seen a lot of Hazamas.

Well from what I know so far an improved Durarara is on the list for next year, so I get to be Celty again. Hmmm... my group is definitely going to be cosplay Zone-00 and that makes me happy beyond all belief because most of us would be changing into alternate costumes throught the day from the series. Oh, and I'm going to be Cosplaying Sara from it~! I may be a bit different from my group and attempt a cosplay from a different series on my own if they don't want to do it with me so it will be a new and scary thing for me. I plan to cosplay Hsien-Ko from Darkstalkers because the challange of making huge claws excites me to no end! More things are up for debate but this is all I know so far.

I think I'm being forced into a Kanto Poke'mon group so maybe that. I have a lot of cosplays I want to do--like another version of Major Motoko Kusanagi, but I might hold off depending on my funds and how much school gets in the way. Both 2012 cosplays are planned. During the day my wife and I will be running the artist table again, so during that we agreed with our good friends and alley neighbors at Pocket Parrot Studios that we would cosplay as characters from their Evil Plan webcomic and they in return would cosplay characters from our novel series. Good for both our tables

But the cosplay people care about and will recognize is Elizabeth and Theodore from Persona 3. The wifey is obsessed with the idea of being Elizabeth and (despite hating the idea of making his outfit) wants me to be Theo. So any Dark Hour photoshoot fans... we'll be there. With our compendiums. Bring extra yen.
