Sunday Storms Mother nature telling me to stay in Chicago.

Did anyone else have to drive South from Chicago on Sunday. I thought I was practically driving through a tornado. I could only see about 10 feet out in front of me. It was like mother nature was saying "you should turn around and go back to the con". How did everyone's drive go?

I ran into some wind but that was about it. The storm was moving too fast so I never caught up to it.

there was a storm in front of us tearing michigan apart, and a storm chasing us from chicago the entire drive, but we actually never encountered any rain ourselves!

LOL yeah on our way to MN we saw the wall cloud and I was like "guys, we're going to pass this and either 1-2 minutes in we are going to get pummeled"... They started freaking out and then 1-2 min in we were in rain where we couldn't see 1/2 mile in front of us, barely the car in front and behind. One of the toll booth ladies had warned us prior to leaving that there was a storm coming. But there was cars parked on underpasses and exit lanes...

After the stormed had passed we saw a car that was smashed and in bits, barely had a top and a semi parked in the middle of the road... SO glad that wasn't me!

We were leaving the con when we ran into the Hail storm it was crazy
