i thought I was dreaming Sunday but I swear I heard some form of evacuation notice around 7ish. My friends swear they heard nothing and say someone may have pulled an alarm or something. Did anyone else hear this or was I just sleep deprived ?

Yeah, there was a fire alarm. The Fire Department was there and everything.

The fire alarm and the evacuation notice was going off for a longgg longggg time, but when I looked outside our door I saw the hotel staff preparing for breakfast so I was like 'eff this' and went back to sleep.

Does anyone know what happened there late Friday night, too? My friends and I were walking back from Denny's and saw six police cruisers go there with their sirens and lights blazing.

...granted, we saw Hamburglar leaving the Embassy right around that time .

lol yeah I saw those cop cars, don't know what happened?.

It's funny I stayed Embassy last time and teh Double tree had a fire and this year I stay in the Doubletree and the Embassy has a problem weird.

Friday/Saturday someone jumped off the roof of the Hyatt. Don't know if this is 100% true or not.

But Hyatt was closed down on Saturday night and IRT/Cops were around at the scene and nobody could go to the liberty room or certain areas of the Hyatt.

And here I am talking to a friend saying "It's boring, nothing happened this year!"... It's unnecessary but there's always something happening at ACen.

Yes everyone in my room slept right through it all, though I am curious about what happened to the banister that goes along the stairs behind the elevators from the ground floor to the breakfast floor?

I was walking to the DESCC about 6:50am Sunday and counted two police cars followed by two fire trucks followed by two ambulances. Then they all just sorta sat there....

I was in the Hyatt, on the second floor under the dome (near where EMRT/IRT HQ was) during the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt photoshoot Saturday night. There was a really loud BANG/WHUMP sound - loud enough that everyone stopped what they were doing. I'm pretty sure that was the sound of something hitting either the roof or the dome windows. No idea what actually happened though. If there is anyone on staff watching this thread, and you know and are allowed to tell us, please do so

*checks hyatt map* the Liberty Room? That's right about where we were, probably within 10 yards of the door. Wasn't that a restricted access room anyways?

I believe that there was a bloody fight this past year on Friday. I forget what hotel but one of my friend's roomies told us about it. She thought that the blood was ketchup or something because there was food on the ground.
