Alright, so I saw one of these for Youmacon and I wanted to start one for Acen. If there's already one out there, then sorry about that...

So, for me? I did have a small crush, just on someone I met, but it's just a crush!
I saw some attractive guys and girls (I'm a chick), but I didn't get the chance to flirt at all D: This weekend happened so fast!

i get that lonely feeling alot. and i see others together and its more of a envious desire to have a partner. why is it that i can't find someone who loves me for who i am... why do i feel like no matter how hard i try every relationship turns into a dead end

Partners are overrated. Almost all the time the amount of emotions put in are not equivalent. It still is something that would be great, but you can't go through life with such fantastic dreams.

Same goes for some of the guys that I meet. It isn't just the women folk. Though, I feel like more often than not women are the ones that come off that way. Men just are expected to step up: to be clear and assertive. If that image isn't met, women get wishy washy .

On Saturday, I was at this open mic comedy thing (forget the name). Well, one of the last women to perform was this petite girl with silver-purple hair and a loose tan shirt. She was very funny, and had very warm eyes.

My friends and hers got to talking a little later after the panel. Didn't get her name, but the image of her smiling was a highlight of the con. Looks and wit like hers inspire poetry, but at the risk of butchering that art with my attempt, I'll just say that I wish her the very best, for she burns in the memory like a candle.

Whenever I crush at a con, it's normally more of a "She'll make someone very very happy someday" with a light swoon more than "I wish she were mine", as I'm already married. It's with that understanding alone I attempt to make my suggestions:

I think it was Saturday that there was an Urd cosplayer walking around. I already adore Urd (and anything AMG related) enough to have melted with squee from just that, but I was able to have a brief conversation with her and she was a really sweet and wonderful person. So she wins my award.

More like gender stereotyping won't get you anywhere. Women AND men alike don't know what they want sometimes. Some people aren't as good at expressing themselves, telling someone they're not interested, or just picking up on social cues. If in doubt, if you're interested in someone and you're not sure they are, blunt honesty may be the route to go.

That was most likely my friend who was Urd. She is a really awesome person (I've known her since high school) . If there was a Cid with her then it was definately her (cause that was me obviously) I'll let her know you thought she was awesome since she doesn't visit the forums.

Anywho, one of my biggest crushes was probably the Asa Shigure from Shuffle. For one she was my favorite character from Shuffle, and she had the cutesy bag behind her back pose down pact *melts* Wish I would of asked for her name. Oh well, maybe she'll see this. That's the point of this thread right? Lol
